"Perhaps a more permanent solution to the problem you are facing can be found, cher Baron. This would be preferable to unending struggle and sunk reconstruction expenses, would it not?"

"Knowledge, and ignorance, almost always serve some interest." The Count smiled without mirth. "Thank you, Knight Zyn, for enlightening conversation and the assistance. If you allow, I'll spend the rest of the afternoon reading the sources you have pointed to."

That was enough honouring local traditions for that hour. The Count needed to clean and change. He rose, treated the others with as dignified farewells as he could muster in these circumstances, and left the mud pool.

"I'll be mindful of not delivering one to you then." The man chuckled faintly. "What were you much for then, in terms of knowledge and insight?"

The Count, who joined them, smiled mirthlessly.

"Or any conversation at all."

"I'd say that is an apt summation. Still, saxophone music comes in orchestral flavour as well, its jizz contributions notwithstanding."

"Both Sound like worthy endeavours. Please let me know if you ever think my assistance might be of use in these matters."

For now, beyond the initial pleasantries and explaining that Serenno is a planet, the Count merely listened and studied the hive, letting the Jedi carry the conversation.

"I might be able to help in the research. I don't think I can reach out to a large hive though."

"Of course." The Count nodded, following the Jedi forth.

"Would a saxophone be sophisticated enough in your opinion?" The Count chuckled.

"That is usually wise. We can develop only so many faculties in life. Oddly though, I do have a musical pursuit as a hobby."

"It is indeed the time. I look forward to our next meeting." With those words, the man collected his cape and began to depart.
