"I don't do charity cases, what makes her worthwhile?" she asked.

"She's an Alderaanian noble that chose to make Nar Shaddaa home, and by all accounts did well for herself there. I imagine that means she has cartel connections. And she's definitely nimble from what I saw during Huttball."

He eats a bit more.

"Set up a meeting, I want to meet this nimble noble," she said while eating.

"Can do," he replies pausing while pouring some wine.

"So some Rists put a kink in your plan and messed everything up tonight? What was the score supposed to be?"

"A rather nice ship stolen from the Hutts by an enterprising if foolish noble of House Syresh they claimed. But they decided to stick their nose in things and my partner as I said has a weak stomach so I took the least troublesome option," she responded.

"That's too bad. Do you have a name for the Syrush? I might still be able to use this. If the Hutts come looking, they could probably use a friendly assist. Or Ziandra might be able to wrangle some political favor from them," he says.

[Dapper Dog]

She gave her cousin the name of the Syresh noble and then added, "I am sure the Hutts would be shocked by his actions, love."

"Shocked and appalled I bet. Hopefully no misfortune comes upon them... that we can't help them with."

He takes a drink then looks back to her. "Have you spoken with any other family recently?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Well things have changed, apparently an Immortal Emperor can die... who knew? Things are changing, no Dark Council... your father is... well your father. reorganizing of Ministries... the family endures but some are not so keen on following the new line and others are eager to ingratiate themselves into the new regime. Typical Sith nonsense," she admitted.

"Always the practical beast," he says in reference to his father. "He'll feel out the new territory and find prey as before. Honestly, knowing what I do about Farro he should be fine. His animalistic nature sits between what was and what is. Mother's more modern sensibility shaped the latest generation of the house though, so I'm not surprised there would be some resistance to a mystical tradition taking over. Hopefully they're flexible enough not to break. I may not be Imperial but I wouldn't want to see the Deathwrights collapse over this."

"The family will endure, the weak will fall away and the strong will innovate, love," she said flippantly.

He nods in agreement. "That's the way of it. Got any good stories of your exploits these past few years? Mostly just have rumors to go off of personally."

She grinned and launched into outlandish tales of her travels...
