"What is that stench?" Kat asked, standing further back in the hallway where the air was a bit fresher drifting in.

Of course the professor was someone who was used to this. Probably had smelled worse too!

Most likely the chamber was sealed, but when the Ulgo folks broke in they broke the seal and the stuff has been left their to rot and molder ever since.

Tethys regathers her composure somewhat while she busies herself with putting on her breath mask.

"I'm surprised they left all this... food"--it was hard to think of the mess as food--"to waste down here. The other rooms looked like they were cleared out in good order." The respirator muffles her voice somewhat, but she's still understandable enough.

Now better prepared, she ventures into the vault of doom. All that she senses in the Force here is decay and rot, but she might spot something...

Kat or the Professor might get a better result on either/both of those when they roll, but at least we have basic success on Perception.

Tethys looks around and notices that some of the stuff got shifted and moved by whoever was here previously. Probably in their haste or lack of care they dropped an actual physical text behind some of what may have been fruits but was now a moldy mess and that smell was attached to the text. The cover was unreadable, it was not overly thick but it looked to have been bound perhaps by hand and had an old style illuminated script of ancient Basic.

"Oh my!" Kellen walked over to see what Tethys had found. "This is incredible, well done." Very carefully he started to collect the book, doing his best not to leave any further damage.

"We have a device at the museum for working with old hardcopy books. Can't be too careful, you can see what time and fungi has done to the cover. The insides look protected though."

He then inspected the rest of the room, his kern archaeological senses rather improbably finding something dramatic.

Taking out her rebreather after composing herself, Kat returned to join the other two.

"Wow, an actual book? I've only seen those in museums."

Kataryzna finds four bottles of wine, and upon second look the Professor can see these are expensive bottles probably worth 1000 credits in total.

Also Kataryzna feels an echo in the Force, distant sounds.

"Wine? That's a strange find."

She didn't think too much about it, as she felt the echo in the Force. "... I feel something..." Kat closed her eyes, trying to concentrate on the distant sounds. "An echo in the Force."

[Kellen Rist]

Kellen smiled. "Oh yes, a rather sought-after vintage too. Not of archeological interest, but worth something to a collector."

He watched her as she responded to the Force echo.

[Dapper Dog]

"Wine? That's a strange find."

She didn't think too much about it, as she felt the echo in the Force. "... I feel something..." Kat closed her eyes, trying to concentrate on the distant sounds. "An echo in the Force."

She could see the halls as they used to be imposed over what they are with people in archaic clothing and older style weapons. She sees a woman with dark hair walk past her towards where Bay #2 is and ignites a green lightsaber she hears someone call out “Master Jedi, this is not your fight!”

The Jedi replied in old Basic, “The Force has broughteth us together, if our fate is to falleth then we doeth so together. We hold this ground for as long as possible. Knights of the Black Circle, to me, and may the Force be with us.”

Then it fades but she still feels the echoes reverberating through her.

She placed a hand on a nearby wall to steady herself as the vision ended. "An echo of the past." Her voice was strangely distorted under the mask.

"A Jedi, with a green lightsaber and dark hair. She fought alongside the Knights of the Black Circle. It seemed like there was going to be a last stand," Kat said as her blue eyes focused on Tethys. "I'd say there might be something in the Jedi archives, though... I imagine much of it was lost recently."

[Kellen Rist]

"Very interesting. A Jedi link to the Black Circle." He nodded and packed away the wine bottles to be sorted out later.

"Shal we take a look at Bay #2 or the armoury next? Just those rooms left I think."

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"Armoury, then Bay #2. The Jedi, she was heading towards Bay #2." Saving the best for last, or something. Though she wasn't sure what they'd see there, after that vision through the Force.

[Dapper Dog]

The armory was bare, it had been picked clean of serviceable and not so serviceable weapons and armor. There were some old manuals and spare parts but nothing that really leapt out at them. Ulgo was not going to miss grabbing weapons.

As they walked around looking at the bare shelves he nodded. "It makes sense that they would take as much as possible with them from the armoury. Perhaps we should go and inspect whatever Bay #2 represents?"

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"Mm, yes." Kat nodded, a little distracted still thinking about the vision, but focused enough. "No surprise really that an armoury was picked clean."

With the glowrod in hand, she illuminated the hallway leading to Bay #2. Hopefully it wouldn't be a giant mother of all spiders in there.

Or the mother of all blobs of moldering food... but no, hopefully they'd already met as much of that as they were going to have to. Tethys reflexively takes the rear as Kat moves into the lead, covering their little party from both sides even though they aren't expecting any danger.
