Professor Kellen Rist And The Temple Of Doom (D3, MA)

[Dapper Dog]

Bay #2 had a rusting speeder transport in a poor state. It looks like it was damaged in battle and on its side. It is an old design from the look of it maybe dating back to the Revan era.

Kataryzna can feel the thrum beat of battle and sees the same Jedi fighting with soldiers wearing colors matching Organa alongside a figure in black, another woman a Mirialan in black armor with her own lightsaber they eventually are overrun and there is an explosion that sends the speeder flipping and landing on top of the Jedi and then she comes to back to the rusting bay.

"Well I can see why they didn't bother to salvage the speeder. It looks rather wrecked. Worth another careful inspection of the room though."

He was relieved that so far there did not appear to be any giant spiders lurking. Of course that could change...

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

Again Kat seemed to need a moment. Her fellow Knight could recognize the look of someone experiencing a vision or similar through the Force, Kellen could probably recognize it too from earlier.

"...Yes, there was a battle. The Jedi I saw, she was fighting with what looked like Organa soldiers, alongside a Mirialan woman in black armor with her own lightsaber. They were overrun." Her blue eyes focused on the scene, sweeping over it, then stopping at the speeder. "An explosion made that speeder flip and land on top of the Jedi."

[Kellen Rist]

Kellen grimaced. "A Force vision? I'm sorry she didn't make it." He looked at the speeder. "Is it in the same position as you saw in your vision? If so then perhaps her resting place has remained undisturbed."

He moved over to look at the wreckage more closely.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"It's alright. She is one with the Force," the Jedi offered to Kellen. "It must've been a long time ago." Even if the Jedi had survived, she would've left her mortal body in time.

Kat gave the speeder a scrutinizing look as they approached closer to it. "Maybe...? Not quite. The vision ended just as that happened." She moved around it, looking for anything that might catch her eye.

It looks like it, the vehicle, scraped the floor when it landed but if something were underneath it would go unnoticed.

[Kellen Rist]

"Ah, yes of course." Perhaps it had all been over in a flash.

Kellen got down on his stomach and looked around under the speeder using his flashlight for any sign of remains. "Could this be a distant relative of yours then Jedi Katarzyna? I wonder if that might why you were drawn to this place? I've read about that sort of thing in the literature."

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"Not impossible, but it could also just be that I somehow picked up on the echoes in the Force here." She was very much not the type to jump to conclusion, but considered the different possibilities until she had something more solid to go on.

Probably a result of that Alderaanian education.

[Tethys Carrack]

Tethys crouches down to look under the speeder as Kellen's light plays back and forth beneath it. "This almost looks old enough to be from around the Mandalorian Wars. I've seen a few bigger craft from that era still being scavenged for parts out on the Rim."

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

As the two of them looked around, Kat kept her attention on the speeder, just in case it might decide to topple over them. And it was best that someone was wary of their surroundings too, even if the place seemed relatively safe.

It looks like it will stay put, but otherwise without moving it there was no way to check to see if the vision of the Jedi and realty coincided.

[Kellen Rist]

"Well, it looks stable, but I can't see anything without moving it." He stood up again and looked between the two Jedi. "I don't carry a winch around with me. Is there any chance that either of you are capable of feats of telekinesis?"

Kellen took a look at the rest of the surroundings for anything that might help them.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"Not my strongest suit, to be honest, but I can use the Force to enhance my strength..." she looked to Tethys, who might be better than her with telekinesis.

[Dapper Dog]

"Well, it looks stable, but I can't see anything without moving it." He stood up again and looked between the two Jedi. "I don't carry a winch around with me. Is there any chance that either of you are capable of feats of telekinesis?"

Kellen took a look at the rest of the surroundings for anything that might help them.

There looks like an old maintenance lift could be used if they could repair and it get it power.

"Aha! Jackpot." The Professor walked over to look at the lift. "Perhaps your repair skills will do the trick instead? I'll do what I can to assist." He smiled back at Kat and Tethys.

[Tethys Carrack]

"That might be best," Tethys agrees. "Something so big... I'm not sure..."

She takes a deep breath and stretches out a hand toward the speeder... which wobbles, but doesn't lift.

Assuming it is Silhouette 2, that's not enough LS to actually lift it. Not flipping pips because it's too complicated after the session has technically ended (and we have another option).

Tethys has 2y2g on Mechanics...

"Then we trust in good old elbow grease," Kat offered, not disappointed with Tethys' efforts. "Let's get the lift working."

Tethys shakes her head a little, shrugging off the failure with a slight frown.

She draws and releases another deep breath, then nods to the others and strides over to the defunct lift. "Yes, let's see what we can do with this. If the motivator's not completely corroded... it only needs to work once..."

And it does work once. Once moved they find a corpse underneath crushed and basically a skeletal mess with a crushed gear and what was probably once a lightsaber. The green crystal survived.

Katarzyna found the moment a bit somber, and she bowed her head looking down at the remains. "I hope you are at peace with the Force," she said softly to the remains, though she felt certain this woman was part of the Force already and had been so for a long time.

"Would it be acceptable to you that the Jedi hold onto this crystal until we learn more about what happened here and who these people were, professor Rist?"
