Alderaan - Love and Intrigue

The whole night Breela tossed and turned. Something wasn't sitting well with her. Finally at 3AM she gave up, made some caf, and looked pensively out the window. Sipping the caf it dawned on her: The trash... Breela you idiot!

Now here she was at 4AM, looking once again into Tuli's death. She started by looking for tracks outside the apartment. (Avoiding security if at all possible.) If she can't find any she'll go searching for a trash collector.

This morning she has her concealing robes covering her armor. She'll do everything she can to avoid claiming she belongs to the Order, but when push comes to shove she's ready to land herself in hot water for her principles.

The people still seem to ignore her. A young kid twi'lek sees her and said, "Oi, what you doin' here?" They rub their runny nose and add, "Why you come around here?"

What's this kid doing up so early?

"I'm a Jedi Knight," she says hoping that the words would inspire the kid to talk, "I'm on a quest of some import." She shows the kid the insignia on the armor but keeps her face hidden. "Perhaps you might help me? Did you see a trash collector that was acting funny the night before last?"

“I don’t know maybe I have and maybe I haven’t, master Jedi, you got one of them light swordies? Can I sees it?” the kid said walking over.

“Trash ain’t been picked up due to Festival, why you asking?”

You little... She steadies herself and laughs good naturedly, "Contrary to popular belief, not all Jedi carry lightsabers." A thought comes to her. "Want to see a trick instead?"

OOC: Planning to force jump or force speed it like Qui-Gon if possible, I know it's not technically a power but since I've got enhance.

"I saw Vera Hawke, all the Jedi have light swordies, you're a fake," the kid called back. "It's like Jedi law or something."

Breela chuckles and aims for the top floor balcony of the building behind the kid.

"Alright... I guess I'm not a Jedi then." She says looking down at the youngster. "But you know, at this point in my life I'm not sure what else to call myself." She pretends to look for clues. "Are you sure you didn't see something suspicious? It's for the greater good of the galaxy, don't you want to be a hero?"

The kid said, “I am not sure it’s suspicious but I heard a speeder a couple nights ago and it looked like trash pickup but it was late and they didn’t take any trash! Looked like a nice lady, I guess human or something.”

“What you need your trash picked up?”

She descends the building, "Really, can you show me where this happened? If I'm right, this person was..." she looks over her shoulder then leans in closer whispering, "an evil villain that works for the dark side!"

“The dark side isn’t real that’s fake holo-video stuff,” the kid said waving it off. He led Breela to an alley near where Tuvi lives.

“Everyone knows that.”

Breela chuckles wishing that were the case. "I'm guessing you didn't see a tag number or anything did you?" She looks around for cameras that might not have gotten scrubbed.

OOC: Her next move will be to ask the shop owners or guards for the footage.

The kid shrugged and said, "Not really. I was watching Daz, just happened to notice it."

That kid again, "Right... why am I not surprised. If there's anything else you can tell me, I'll tell Daz to give you a shout out."

"Seriously! You know Daz! Seriously?" the kid responded.

She rolls her eyes, "I do," unfortunately, "he's the Padawan of a friend."

"Whizz," and then they add, "Take a video of me dancing!"
