[Day 8 - MN] Father's Keeper

Yulastranza sat on her bed with a heavy heart, it was probably the worst day of her life and she couldn’t even really process everything that had changed in the last day. She peeled out of the armor and got in the refresher and cleaned away the stench of failure? Sadness? It really didn’t matter.

Mother would be a wreck for who knows how long and now she would have to clean house and figure out who knew what and when and why… she punched a wall in anger, this was not the legacy she was born for.

But she was an Ulgo and she would endure and her father had made the right decision in the end but it was a cautionary tale she would have to live until the end of her days. Fresh out of the shower she took a seat on her bed and drafted a letter to the Queen, it was surprisingly easy, succinct and heart felt.

This was also the worst vacation she ever had.

Not able to find sleep she turned on old holos of better days, it didn’t stop the tears but it made them matter.
