[Day 8 - MM] Alderaan Peace Summit (Closed)

Omandri tried his best to calm Olak "Hey Olak its alright we're all upset about Bryson but anger here won't help anything."

[Dapper Dog]

"Bryson was my friend, he deserves better," the Baron retorted as he calmed himself.

[Omandri Rist]

"He was my friend too." Omandri said softly the mask hiding his emotions slipping a little as sadness crept into his voice. He firmed up though determination in his eyes "and that's why we need to find the person or people responsible. Actually responsible not just the easy answer."

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"We don't yet know who or what exactly the Cunning Man is." Apart from what she had already said earlier about them being a figure in the underworld with a reputation for not belonging to any known faction in the galaxy.

"We should find out. But first, we must focus on Alderaan. If we start fighting among ourselves, or go to war over reasons manufactured by the Cunning Man and his associates, then we play into their hands. What we need is to stand united with eachother, and put differences aside."

[Niall Organa]

Nodding, Niall offered Omandri the datapad he held. "Here's all the information we've found on the Cunning Man. Every operation they've done, every cell, active, inactive, or captured. It's not everything, but it's a lot, and maybe it's enough to bring the rest of them down."

His chin tilted upwards. "It's about more than stopping their plots. But if we give into fear, into hate, we're abandoning justice for all the people this conspiracy has hurt. Like your friend, Bryson. If House Rist is willing to work with us, we'll find justice with you, and I'm saying that for both House Organa and the Republic."

[Dapper Dog]

Olak smiled and ironically said, "You have my support, I am sure the Duchess would agree."

[Omandri Rist]

Omandri nodded his composure settling back in as he took the data pad his voice confident and resolute as he spoke again "I am obviously not the Duchess, however I will take this information and urge her to come to the table with the other Houses. By everything I've seen today it is clear that this Cunning Man or his organization are pulling strings here. It is my sincere hope that House Rist can become part of the solution to the problems of Alderaan."

[Dapper Dog]

Gaul said, “I think we can all agree that a united Alderaan is better than a fractured one. We can quarrel, but this is bigger than our vested interests. I think we have made real progress, and if we continue to share information we can avert a possible catastrophe.”

[Zeno Thul]

Zeno nodded and knocked on the table in support of the Princes statement. A subdued version of a 'Here, here!'

"I have a good feeling about this." Niall said optimistically.
