Aurilie couldn't help but give Cynella a curious look at the mention of being environmentally friendly. Seeing as Alderaan could be considered rustic or underdeveloped to many worlds in the core system, it was a concern that never quite occurred to her. That, and being a prince. "I would imagine that such a thing would be possible if you ever wish to take up the hobby. It's pretty common among nobles, as you can see from House Panteer's overly impressive thranta stable. And if not a market, then perhaps a premium. I'm sure that nobles here would be happy to afford custom orders. I'd imagine so, at least, you're easily far more experienced when it comes to conducting business. There are many reasons that Kuati ships are high in demand, hm?"

Seeing as Alderaanians seem to favour tall spires, her guess wasn't exactly off the mark. Even Aurilie's estates had the same architecture and there was a long history of construction woes attached to it.

"I take it that you won't find living on the mountains too troubling as a result." She said as she looked back with a small smile. "No, not at all. They are a bit of loan from Hoth and are quite useful as a steed of choice during the winter months as the roads on the mountain can be quite treacherous after a heavy snowfall."
Cynella was by no means an expert on environmentalism nor an advent crusader for it. She'd simply heard it many a times before. "It'd require some business contacts, that's for sure. They tend to not like such pet projects though." She shook her head. "Yes, Kuat is more of a mass-production sort of planet than customization. Efficient pricing and models over, say, Corellia which seems to love letting the owner pick and choose random parts." She shook her head. "It's a bit overwhelming for the average consumer. But moreover, it's hard for a military to maintain supplies if every ship is so different."

For once, she was actually sounding quite educated. Kuatis and their ships. Maybe like Alderaanians and their spires.

"The mountains wouldn't be so bad, no. I can see why an import would do well in such cold though." Cynella shook her head. "While I could likely deal with such cold, I'd rather not ever go to that planet. Hopefully it never comes to that."

When Blai's chance to ride finally came, he first spent a moment touching the magnificent creature's skin, trying to sense its emotions, its energy, and attune his own sense of self to the creature's.

The resulting ride was as wild as it was beautiful. He could feel the noble creature's heart beating; felt the wind on its wings as if they were part of his own body, and he felt as if the Thranta's sight and his own were one.

It had been long since he'd had a chance to ride one of these creatures. Too long. He spent so long getting amazed by the nature away from Alderaan ...and he had let himself forget the joys of some of the nature close to his birthplace.

He didn't know if anyone was actually watching. He didn't know if what he was doing here would in some way help keep his family's good name, as aunt Dariana had asked.

He couldn't even get himself to care. He was enraptured in the moment. They were. And they had no place for anything else in their shared mind during the ride.

"That does make sense given your world's famous industry. It would seem a bit out of place to have custom parts for such large ships and would you be in an odd spot of keeping such parts around until the right order comes around or on an occasion something needs to be replaced." She nodded on that note. "Well, perhaps it's not meant to be unless it is something you wish to pursue on the side. I recall you were thinking of a few possibilities where Kuati ships could be adopted on Alderaan. I suppose that's perhaps where something environmental would be more relevant, so to speak. Something noisy or intrusive would perhaps be seen as unattractive, compared to the other more majestic options."

She gave an affection pat on the thranta's head to make her point.

"It's a fine place for hunting. Wampa make for deadly and prized game." She said as she glanced towards to catch sight of that maze in consideration. If they hadn't braved it a few days ago, it would be considered cheating now, would it? "However, you're right. I wouldn't say there is any real reason to be there, especially when you can be in far more pleasant places. I imagine that Lady Cynella is very well travelled?"

"It's a trade-off. I suppose an ambitious admiral could customize their own ship, though that again runs the issue of parts." Cynella shook her head, her hair going wild in the air. "Ah! But where was I... ah! Sometimes, people spare no expense, I suppose."

She pursed her lips. "I believe it'd be best to have a solid fleet that could patrol the outside of the system. If invaders are kept from ever landing, then you wouldn't even have to worry about monuments getting destroyed and the like."

On the subject of Hoth, she remained unconvinced. "I've traveled in the Core Worlds from time-to-time, though I must admit, I never strayed far from the cities. This... adventure upon the thranta is definitely unlike any of my experiences elsewhere. Well, I suppose I did get to ride a nexu once. That was odd."

"And what of your realm, you have come a long way from your world, why come to Alderaan?" she countered.
"Like I have said before, Your Majesty, I have come to form an alliance between our planets through marriage. Even as the galaxy is vast, there are only so many worlds like Alderaan, both strong and ruled with noblesse." He smiled. "There is a saying on Serenno, an old one. It says that the world is supported by four pillars: the valour of the brave, the learning of the wise, the justice of the great and the prayers of the righteous. But all these things mean little without a ruler who knows the art of ruling." He offered a bow, again taking care for the beast not to misjudge it.

“Well spoken, Count. We are seeking political ties with influential powers but we have a more pressing issue at mind. We shall be frank, you are a most charming and influential person but we are concerned with your advanced age. Our daughter is young, only beginning her journey and it seems you are at least midway if not towards the end of yours. This gives us trepidation,” she responded.

“We do not doubt that you are capable, but we fear the people may see such a union as an inauspicious.”

Aurilie frowned faintly in thought at the mention of monuments getting destroyed as she had their Thranta take another pass around the palace. "That is something we hope to not go through anytime soon, admittedly. There is peace now and we'll likely do our best to maintain it but the galaxy does have a way of having things slip from everyone's grasps, despite best intentions. This is likely a topic of conversation that Lady Cynella will have to approach on someone with more of a hand on defensive matters over Alderaan."

She chuckled and looked at Cynella with an amused look. "A nexu? That's pretty surprising. I don't think many would consider nexu a viable mount, lest it gets bored with the rider and considers them as their easy meal. How did you even get to ride one? The thought of there being a domesticated nexu farm somewhere in the galaxy is very intriguing, to say the least. And here I was thinking of getting one to add to my wall, might seem a bit in poor taste if a few people out there might have a nexu pet somewhere."

Kellen was clearly enjoying his thranta ride and waved back to Kat. He spotted Aurilie and Cynella and moved his thranta close enough to shout a greeting.

"Good evening! What a delightful view from up here!"

Aurilie raised a brow and looked over to their side to see another person flying their thranta with the same idea. She raised a hand to wave back. "Good evening! Familiar sights admittedly but from a different perspective! However, I don't know if you'll find many flowers up here, Ser Kellen!"

"I'd wager that it's up to the Sith if they want to invade Alderaan again. And based off what I know of them, that's more than likely." Cynella sighed. "But you're right. This isn't a defense council meeting or anything of the sort."

Talks of a nexu were much more pleasant. "I wouldn't say that it was very well domesticated. In fact, in hindsight, it may have qualified as animal abuse. As a child, I certainly wouldn't have known any better." She looked over to the Prince of Joral and then shrugged; the collection of trophies never spoke to her.

The man's appearance surprised her, though her body naturally clung onto the thranta instead of fleeing. "Ah! I wasn't expecting cross-thranta talks!" She pursed her lips. "Is this common?! Maybe your people usually use commlinks?!"

"Hm, perhaps something worth a look into at a later time..." she murmured on the topic of the nexu. Perhaps it was another sort of stable or farm. It wasn't like nobles were immune to stumbling into dark corners of the galaxy, especially when there was a lot of money made by some enterprising individuals.

"Not exactly practically, I'll agree, especially when it takes a bit of fitness of getting close enough but not too close. I wouldn't recommend doing so at high speeds." With that, she gave her thranta a few proper pats so that the beast would slow their speed, putting them at a gentle gliding speed with the occasional flap of their wings. "I suppose commlinks would do better."

"Comlinks are more common, yes." He yelled across the space. "But it isn't every day we get to do this." There was a smile and he waved before making a turn so that he could see the whole place laid out below. It was breathtaking!

She considered the questions for a moment. "Likely those who are close or under the direct rulership of House Panteer...or House Thul, I imagine. The occasion where many of these majestic creatures are on loan, even from such a sizeable stable, doesn't come often. And, I don't think many people have brought their personal thranta here either. We do have a few but I don't ride them often myself, perhaps in part of the high altitudes I'm already situated at."

"I don't think you'll find many flowers up here, Ser Kellen," she could call back at the other rider. "How have you been?"
