[Day 4, MA] All Dressed Up

Garth busies his mouth with drinking his beverage a far safer activity from his perspective.

"I don't know I spent my whole life trying to find what I could be good at? I studied to be a scientists, I like it, but I don't love it. I like helping people but I just feel more guilty that I live here and there are people living in squalor... the galaxy is so complicated," she responded.

"That it is." he nodded. "To be honest, it's nice to know that you're struggling to find your place like the rest of us. I think that's true of pretty much everyone, but sometimes it feels like it's just us. It's nice to have a reminder that we aren't alone."

He reached into his pocket and pulled out a wooden pendant.



"I found this at one of the fair ground booths. It's not much, but you mentioned liking art."

"I haven't had the opportunity to familiarize myself with much of Alderaan's wildlife." he admitted. "There's a lot I don't know about your world."

"Not personally, but 'tween all the riots an th' exploding cafe, well ah ain't lettin mah guard down any time soon. Not th't ah don't trust the Royal Guard, but paranoia ain't exactly scarce among soldiers." Garth answers Lana honestly.

"Many of us rode thranta alongside her last night." he smiled. "You were right, there was little need to guide them. Magnificent creatures."

"I will keep that in mind, Lord Ulgo. So why are you playing chaperone?" she asked allowing a sweet fruit to fly to her hand before taking a bite.

"I can understand that." he nodded. "Most of my life has been spent in the wilds of various Planets. I often struggled against the wildlife, but I've learned deep appreciation and respect for it." He studied her first a moment. "But, there are definitely people I value more."
