Détente: Lanar and Thul [Day 8, EA]

"You do plan to have children or what even is the point of this meeting?" she responded.

[Riss]

"Eventually, yes," she nods, taking a breath she looks to Kat and gives a brief smile. Focusing back on Ziandra she crosses her arms over her mid-section and continues, "Given the chance I want to build my house first. Make it mine, make it into something that's.. worth all this. Then, yea, I'll find someone if I haven't already and settle down. I've.. seen it, recently. Never been much of a kids kinda gal but.. maybe I can be? Maybe I will be? It looks nice, feels warm," she shakes her head, stopping the pouring out of thoughts. "Thoughts no one needs to hear about here."

A nod, more direct at Ziandra again, "So long as you're willing to wait, yea. I'll have kids. We can push them together when they've grown at those wonderfully dumb parties nobles are known for and one of them is bound to get smitten. I can agree to that."

"Then we have an accord, our families will be united in the future in marriage, or woe until her who breaks this oath," Ziandra said warmly.

[Riss]

"Looks.." she breaths in, chest puffing up a bit and rising in that confidence a bit more, "like we do," and she exhales. "So.. is that.. is that it?" she asks, glancing from Ziandra to focusing on the queen.

"We can relinquish your home to you, it's a bit of a fixer upper at the moment," she mused.

[Riss]

"I.. imagine it would be," she says, tone more even as she at least manages to keep the spark of anger that inspired down.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"Well, I think you could've handled this without me," Kat remarked warmly to Riss, a nod of approval to how well she was handling this. And everything else.

[Riss]

Shifting her attention over toward Kat as she spoke, Riss shared in the smile although her own dimmed much quicker. Reaching out with a hand she brushed the arm of her friend, and gave a nod, before shaking her head, "Nah. Not a chance," she says with a slight, more simply perfunctory chuckle.

The Queen and her guests settled into normal if stilted royal discussions about the weather. Before dismissing them so she could prepare for her fateful Museum visit.
