((If she's a sensitive, can Tethys get any feel for if she is more likely a Dark Side user, or a more neutral/Light presence in the Force? Over or under the DS morality threshold, in other words? I don't remember if that was a thing one can notice, or if it's only apparent when someone actually uses Force powers.))

The woman dips neither Light or Dark, though there is an air of aggression about her. But she resonates in the Force a feeling of focus and duty, and no calm or peace. Our order was formed on Nar Shaddaa but it was only when we returned here that we established our doctrine.”

He departed, exploring the open areas of the palace a bit, until he found a quiet, isolated area.

"Exactly, that's a tough place for anyone. But if we want to get to a point of peace we have to long term find a way to cope with that new reality," she suggested.

"But that's a process, not a destination. In my opinion."

Garth nods solemnly at the young Thul's wisdom. "Quite a deep thought there Miss Thul, so when ya runnin' fer parliament? Ideas like that, they need a platform t' be heard 'n shared."

He turns his gaze towards the Prince. "Or y' lookin fer an alt'nate path?"

Her gaze goes to Yulastranza and then back to Garth, "I am just here to do what is asked of me and if the Queen feels I am worthy then well... that is that."

Glancing around, Garth sees the party starting to wind down, so he offers Miyi a slight bow from the waist.

"Well ah thank y' fer yer time this evenin' Miss Thul, an' look forward t' seeing ye again tomorrow at the gathering, ah imagine there'll be a few more o' these...events in our near futures."

"Nothing too concrete.. Republic has me listed as a Privateer if that matters much to you. Do a lot of work with them, done a lotta work with them," she says, glancing around to find another drink but holds off for the moment in actually seeking one out.

"But, I'm still pretty freelance. My own boss and everything, it's nice."

"That's interesting," he says genuinely. "I mean, I'm glad you've been on the right side of things at least a good amount of the time." He smiles. "Though, uh, that's not exactly my honored cousin's style," he says, looking rather pointedly at Kat to see if continuing this is acceptable.

Kat looked at the two of them, but focused more on Bran. "I must acknowledge that there are times when one must focus on doing what will help the most people. Sometimes that does require the assistance of someone who knows how to dodge a blockade, or slip through customs on hostile worlds. I would not have made it off Coruscant alive if not for Riss," at that she gave a very grateful nod to the pink-haired woman.

"And... she does mean well. Most of the time." Some of the time. Occassionally. Kat really tried to steer her that way when possible at least.

"I've no doubt Lady Massacre"--Tethys can't help a slight eyebrow twitch while pronouncing this Cry For Help of a name--"is very knowledgeable, but you've been most informative yourself, Ser. My thanks."

Her gaze seeks the guardswoman's eyes under the heavy shadows of that helmet. "If you ever want to speak more with a 'real' Jedi, I'm here until the end of the festival. I've got time." I have time for a wild talent who might be seeking something more, is the subtext whispering in the Force."

Bran conveniently chooses to focus on what seems both most positive and most interesting to him.

"Well, if you helped keep my cousin safe during the war, then you're a great friend of mine, Captain Riss," he says with great conviction and a solemn smile.

"Marvellous! I'd be delighted. I'm rather keen to get out into the wilderness too if the opportunity presents itself. Still plenty I haven't seen here, or would like to see again." He smiled at the political dance comment.

"Yes, it can be rather a full dance card. Let's hope everything turns out for the best." At least they both knew what House Rist wanted. Also known as Omandri's sister.

"Brilliant, I'd love to get back out there. Alderaan does have rather beautiful wilderness areas. Despite my misgivings about some of the things they do the government certainly does a good job of preserving the planet." He said smiling as he took a drink "if you'd like some company for a trek please let me know."

"This is intriguing, but I've kept you from your duties. Shall I release you to them?" Not that there isn't ample security around. So much it seems a bit like overkill, really.

Aly nodded, her interest peaking. "Oh? You don't say." Something to watch out for. She eyed Jameela. "So, you think she handled it well? Well, I guess it could have been worse."

She raised a hand, a ring shining on it. "Oh, already taken. Alas, won't be able to join in on the race." She titled her head. "Business partner or, business partner?"

"As lon' as she actually listened to what was said, maybe somethin' will get better" Azura shrugged "or not. Might be more fun to see what happens if they don't."

There was a pause as the question.

"Uh...complicated. Kind of both I guess? Although he's talkin' lately about well..." she pointed at the ring "which I still don't get. He's a good man, and I ain't really a good person. Still, we been together all the time so I guess it's next steps an' all. Your other half here too then?"

"A fine plan. Very well, the day after tomorrow! I suppose we should go and mix with the other guests. Nice to be at an event that doesn't require watching lots of academics making foolish statements for a change." He winked and sipped his wine.

"Take care cousin, enjoy the festival!" Kellen set off to meet some of the other guests.
