She looked around the room as if admiring the fancy setting that these nobles seem to enjoy so much. Then her eyes shifted back to Hinock, “You must know that I will do anything for peace.”

Riss smiles awkwardly, processing for a few seconds, "Guess that's kinda how decisions work, huh? You know, for all the cryptic stuff that one.. I mean, that's just vague enough I don't think it makes me any different than the rest of us, mm?" she chuckles, regaining that easy confidence of hers again a bit. "We got a drink around here? Maybe a quick little toast to things.. being as they should be?"

"It isn't like I carry such things around with me, it would have to be after this delightful dinner party," she said to Delmi.

"There will come a day I will make you suffer for this indignity you bantha poodo Thul bitch, but tonight just enjoy yourself," she whispered and then turned on her heels.

OOC: Threat used to have her spread news to Joran, he does not like that.

"I've.. been told similar before, chaotic aura, wild, same thing," she says, glancing about for a drink but as she reaches for it she hesitates. Drinking alone like that always felt a little too depressing, and so she didn't. Turning back fully again she regards the woman.

A chuckle, tinged with that unease, "Never had it linked to the idea that it'd destroy planets though.. that's new, very new," she says, taking a quick glance around to ensure the silliest of her thoughts wasn't true. That this in fact wasn't some wild set-up for a gameshow where she's left looking dumb for believing the things the crazy woman said.

"Right on up in there.. but maybe I should be getting on, mm? It was a pleasure talking to you.. Ashira I think you said?" she offers an easy smile. "A.. unique pleasure," she chuckles again.

Should they begin to part she would stop just prior, turn back, and say, "You've got pretty eyes by the way," bringing her hand up to indicate her own, "intense.. but pretty," she gives another easy smile.

"Well perhaps she has hidden merits I have yet to perceive if my cousin, Gaul, denied her, she must be found wanting in some capacity," he said confidently.

Delmi watched the woman depart with the same fake soft smile she had during their conversation.

After she left, however, she found a spot over by the refreshments and let out a sigh as her features fell towards a normal expression.

She asked for a drink from the bartender and let out another sigh.

Stupid intrigue...

An attendant announced to the party, “Dinner will be served in ten minutes, please find your seats.”

The crowd begins moving to the dining chamber where several tables were immaculately dressed and prepared for a lavish feast. The suitors would be seated at the head table with the Queen and her immediate family.

Delmi found her seat and scanned the array of utensils to ensure she was ready for the meal.

Jocasta politely excused herself from the Commander, thanking him for the compliment and conversation, and made her way to her seat.

Seeing the complex place setting, she was thankful the Count had taken some time out of his day earlier to run a refresher course on the etiquette of formal dinners with her.

She gave a small wave to Major Koor, who had arrived before her.

Delmi nodded with a kind smile in return to her friend.

Riss, as she often did, made her rounds in the time leading up to the dinner. Ten minutes she had, and she was like to use a fair number of them as in one moment she finds Cynella to give her a quick check in. Only the move toward the table, finding Jocasta in the middle of it all. Hand laying down on one of the womans shoulders she leaned in by her ear for the brief privacy, "Thanks for before, by the way. You.. helped, a lot," she said quietly, sharing a smile and then departing without much conversation so she can get to her appointed seat.

"By far, but that should not be a stopping point for you. There are other paths to greatness," he said kindly.

"And what would you suggest?" she asked, raising her brow. She noted the announcement and looked back to him with a slight smile.
