"How could Zanebry stand dressing like this all the time?" Galen fidgeted and pulled at his jacket. "Maybe the hat made it more tolerable somehow."



"Thanks for coming with me Garth. I doubt I'd get far on my own."

They are brought to the Royal wing, and led into a well appointed living room with large comfortable couches and a central table with fresh fruit. A protocol droid stood at the door and inside sat Jameela reading a datapad. She rose when they entered and said, “Hey, I wasn’t expecting guests.”

Two of the Queen’s Guard stood inside the door watching the proceedings.

"I hope you don't mind." Galen said. "I was hoping we could talk more."

"Anything for a friend," Garth replied as he ran his fingers through his hair. He felt a little conflicted visiting the Princess when his Baroness was stuck at home, but bro's before....well something or other.

As Jameela addressed them, Garth was content to let Galen take the lead and serve as more of a bodyguard than a social escort. He stood a little behind the hunter, content to be a third wheel, or a fourth if Lana was present.

Lana entered from an adjacent room and said, "Oh, you have guests?"

Lana entered from an adjacent room and said, "Oh, you have guests?"

"I feel like you knew this would happen," she added with a smile to her friend.

"Good afternoon, Lord Beniko." he greeted Lana. Then he motioned to his companion. "My friend, Garth Wayne Ulgo, was kind enough to accompany me and keep me out of trouble."

Lana nodded and then whispered something into Jameela's ears and she looked at garth before focusing on Galen and saying, "Welcome to both of you, are either of you hungry or thirsty?"

"If it isn't too much trouble, something to drink would be appreciated." he responded. "I am sorry for interrupting your afternoon like this."

"Ye're kind t' offer Princess. Ah ate after m' shift at the soup kitchen this morning but a drink wouldn' go unappreciated."

Though the whisper did not go unnoticed, Garth made no fuss of it, though he was a little surprised that Jameela had not known they were coming.

Droids bring in refreshments and she said, "It's been nice not having to do anything public, but I feel like I could be doing some kind of good out there more than in here."

Garth smiles wickedly as he collects a simple glass of water from the droid.

"Well, y' c'n always make one o' them holonet vids wi Daz? Spread yer message of goodwill out there?"

"We could plan something for the people once things calm down." Gallen suggested.

"That is a great idea! He seems really popular," she said with excitement.

"Well I did want to go out into the community ad build homes for less fortunate folks, but security concerns... blah blah blah," she said with a sigh.

"I'm sure you can come up with something, and I'd be happy to assist." he smiled. "Personally, I am glad you are being kept safe, but hopefully you'll be free again soon."

"D'ya have much experience with that sorta stuff Princess? Ah'm sure the needy would 'ppreciate the sentiment but..." Garth leaves the rest of the statement hanging, not wanting to ruin Galen's time by offending Jameela.

Jameela said, “I have built homes on many worlds, I am not an engineer or architect by training but I can follow directions and I always make sure we have trained specialists on site. I am not an idiot.

"I'm sure he meant no offense." Galen said. "The truth is, we don't know that much about you. That's why I wanted to see you. I'd like to know you better."

"I guess that is fair, I am really bad at talking about myself, umm... what do you want to know?" she asked.

"Well, I think I've learned a few things. You've spoken of your travels and your efforts to help those in need. You believe strongly in fairness and justice. You have a great distaste for violence. Neither of us seem to be very comfortable in a crowd and you likely prefer peaceful, quiet moments. You are a kind, compassionate, beautiful woman. I imagine there's a great deal you would like to do for Alderaan and the galaxy. And, I believe you will succeed in many ways." He fidgeted a little as he spoke, adjusting his jacket and nervously rubbing one of his wrists with the other hand. "What I don't know is what you want for yourself. Is there something you hope for, for yourself?"
