Change [Day 9, MA]

[Riss]

Following her meeting with Yulastranza, there was one order of business for the day that was far more personal than the rest. This was for.. a strange assurance, a private wondering, a forming trust. Making her way to the palace proper Riss puts in the words where she may to get her directed to Ashira Panteer. Taking the time to think over everything that's happened, the good and the bad. Though as is with most sentients, her mind lingered often on the bad.

[Dapper Dog]

Her private apartment was dimly lit and she sat tending to a flowering plant.

[Riss]

"Kinda reminds me of my ship, the lighting," she says, standing in the doorway with her hand on her hip. Glancing around the room a bit she likely wasn't too surprised with what she found. Still, she had her own little personal mission.

"Getting right too it.. I hope it's alright if I ask you a question?" she asks, walking further into the space and approaching near the woman herself, and her plant.

[Dapper Dog]

"Most people tend to come to me with questions," she responded.

[Riss]

"Taking the guess that you do to most people what you did to me, said to me. Yea," a half-chuckle, shake of her head. "I'm not surprised you get this a lot..." the humor in her tone drifts, she glances down and away.

"I.. so, things happened. I don't know how to make sense of half of it yet but- did I do it? Said I needed to find my light. I think I did, but kriff this has to be it right? This was that change you were talking about?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Are you asking for my validation?" she asked curiously.

[Riss]

"T-thats not the way I woulda put it but.. you're the one who got this whole thing all twisted up in my head so-" she says, a hand coming up unconsciously giving herself pause. Closing her eyes a moment she breaths out.

"Yea?" it's awkward, she feels awkward.

[Dapper Dog]

"Everything is as it should be, Countess Lanar. These things are never quite as clear when you are living them, but in hindsight they reveal themselves fully. If you are confused then that is good, you are still on your journey. I was not sure you would make it to the other side, but I am pleased that you have," she said kindly.

[Riss]

Riss holds for a moment, stupefied in a sense. After about five seconds she chuckling briefly, "I am very confused but.. that's good, I guess," another brief chuckle, a shake of her head.

"Thank you," she lets that settle in. "You are probably the strangest woman I have ever met. I like it," she says, taking a couple steps away. "I'm gonna visit you again sometimes if that's okay? You.. plants a hobby thing or you more of a sweets kinda person? What am I bringing with me next time?"

[Dapper Dog]

"I abhor gifts, if you wish to visit then do so, though my primary residence is on Delaya," she offered.

[Riss]

"Alright, no gifts then. That'll be the gift," she says with a slight smirk, hand on her hip. Taking a couple steps backward toward the door, pausing again, "I'll see you on Delaya sometimes then, I'm sure I'll have reason enough to be in the area on occasion," she offers with a slight smile, and with her own needs met would leave soon after.

"I would be honored, Countess Lanar," she responded.

[Riss]

"And I look forward to it, Lady Panteer," she says with a brief, brighter smile and with her hand rested on the back of her blaster gives one final nod before sauntering back out the door. It'd not be the last time, that much was just determined, and Riss would quite likely seek her advice just as was respected among the courts from time to time. Of course, that was all dressing for the years that would be to come.
