Busy Days, Busy Life [Day 3, LE, Rimma]

[Riss]

"Yea I did," she says, holding on that note a moment as she brings a hand back up and pokes Kat's nose playfully. "But before I say more on that, you do know the fact you thought of it that way first means it's on your mind, right? It's okay, he's hot," she chuckles warmly with a slight shake of her head. Teasing as she was she leaves Kat to consider that as she slips right back into it, "But yea, I went to talk to him. Wanted to speak with Joran myself, get a chance to fix things?" she shook her head. "Selfish, always a little," she chuckles, but there's a slight shame there in the tone.

"Anywayy," she gives an upturn to her tone to distract from it. "Yea. I went to him and he promised he'd help. So.. he helped, probably, I trusted him bit only cause you trusted him. He may also know that," she chuckles again.

She rolled her eyes a little bit and her smile was more like a smirk.

"Do you think I should... I don't know, ask him on a date or something?"

[Riss]

"I think you should show up in his bedroom dressed like me," she says, leaning back a bit so she could show off her outfit again. A bubbly laugh rising as she did, flaunting it. "Take him by the belt.. if he's wearing one, or collar," she waves her hand flippantly, "whichever. Find something to grab, pull him in, and kiss him like you're never gonna get to kiss anyone ever again.. ya know, like me," she flashes a smirk.

"Or.." she shrugs, "I dunno, a date. I guess."

"That's what you would do," Kat tapped a finger against Riss' chest just below the collarbone. "... This might be a surprise... ok, maybe not... but I've never asked someone out on a date before. Or been on a real date."

It was kind of hard to count the nights getting drunk on beer and eating junkfood on the Rimma as a 'date'.

[Riss]

"I'm completely and utterly shocked Kat. Shocked," she put on the fakest surprised tone she has ever put on, seeing through it was like looking through a window. There was, of course, a broad smile that quickly formed as the words would settle in and her being a tease was apparent.

Scrunching her nose she leans in a little, shakes it, "Yea, what I would do. And who just told me that the one they're smitten with is a whole lot like me? He might like it," she said, chuckling as she shakes her head. "Though.. honest? Wait for at least the third date for something that bold. Wanna get in smoothly first then when you're slowly settling in as something more common," she brings her hands together, a small clap. "Hit him with the big moves, make him never forget, he'll never wanna let you go," she chuckles to herself.

"Or just listen to this a little more," she said, putting a finger over Kat's heart. "It usually knows the right thing to do even if it's a bit nerve-wracking. So, heart not brain. Got it?" she says, as if that isn't the perfect metaphor for the entirety of Riss' life.

Kat laughed along with Riss faking her surprise. "I'll see how it goes. I recently got some pretty fancy wine, figure I'll use that as an excuse to see if he wants to meet. If things go bad, there's at least good wine, right?"

There was a bit of a nervous tinge to her chuckle.

"I listen to my feelings a lot of the time, you know. I wouldn't be friends with you if I didn't... and... my master always told me to trust my instincts and my feelings. A lot of Jedi training is about that - knowing yourself, being truthful with yourself."

[Riss]

"Sure you do, the ones that aren't getting clouded by what's up here," she says, tapping Kat's forehead. Tilting her head out of the way of her forearm so Kat could still see her. "Running into danger, being the hero, knowing what you stand for, that kriff has always been easy for you but.. you stress, a lot, without even knowing it," she says with a brief smile, lowering her hand from her forehead. Shifting said hand into a closed fist she puts it against Kat's shoulder but just holds it there for the moment.

"I'm also way easy to be friends with and you know it," she pushes against Kat's shoulder with her fist, chuckling as she does so. "You haven't even tried yet, so don't worry about what will happen if things go bad. Focus on making them go right, mm"

"I'm not worried about things going bad," she chuckled. "It's just... the first time I'm actually trying to enjoy the Festival myself."

Kat shook her head, focusing on the matters at hand. "Right, you're going to be late for your date, hm? Don't want to keep them waiting too long right?"

[Riss]

Riss regards her for the moment, a slight smile creeping up. Nodding she leans up and gives Kat a quick affectionate kiss on the forehead, "You're right!" she says with a burst of energy, shifting to the side she was on her feet. Moving, getting her things together.

"More that I'm the one who'd be stuck waiting to.. well," she chuckles, finding a couple more of her things but noticeably leaving her blaster where it lay. "Let's just say.. I'm looking forward to it, mm?"
