She tries to pick up a nut from the bowl on the table and a solid clump of homogenized food-like matter comes of the bowl. She drops it back down. "Things did work out for me and I don't mean to complain about it. I've just been frustrated by the whole situation. It sounds like you are too."

Jocasta leans back in her seat and puts her hands behind her head, giving off the impression of someone who's resigned to their fate, an unconscious imitation of surrender. "Listen Julio, I've got your back, we've been through it... I'm not saying they don't deserve it, but what can you, or we, do about it. We're just two troopers. Have you seen the Blackguard? I don't want you going off on a suicide mission."

She points out their various bandages. "Plus, they're guerilla war experts, that's probably exactly what we need.

How about this. I'll feel her out and see how she's leaning.

In the meantime, don't do anything simple." She makes air quotes at the word simple. "Until we come up with a battle plan. One that will maximize damage, and hopefully more than once."

She pulls out her datapad and swipes through a few screens. "What's your commline?"

After exchanging contact information, Jocasta gets up to leave. She gives the bartender more credits for some rounds for Julio on her way out.

Two words are on her mind as she leaves the bar, "Well fuck."

She waits until she's almost back to Sunshine Hall before she pulls out her datapad to message Maj. Koor, "We need to talk."
