Rest Easy [Day 4, EN]

[Riss]

"You do know who you're talking to right? On both counts," she chuckles, being sure to reach for a napkin as well to clean off her eating hand a little more effectively. "I don't need silly drinking games," she said, working on the first finger and being very thorough about it. "I just like them," she offers with a brief smile as she works on the second.

"But yea, I tend to only drink around friends. Drinking alone's very.. depressing. Not much of a drinker otherwise, just socially- festival's just got me very social," she adds with another bright laugh. Finding cleaned she brought her hand back and rested it atop Aurilie's leg given the nearness.

[Aurilie Alde]

Aurilie loosened her hold on Riss's arm, allowing her to move to get the napkin. She does relax her pose as well, going from a previously concerned friend to a more relaxed sitting position.

She smiled sheepishly at Riss. "Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you needed them. This is just twice they've popped up this Festival and I thought I should be concerned but obviously, it was for naught. To be honest, we could probably all stand to do some more drinking around here, if at least to make some events a bit lighter around here. I'm sure everyone is feeling a bit tense but they're too polite to admit it."

[Riss]

Reaching up she just pulls Aurilie into another warm hug, holding her tight for a minute before she says, "I know Aurie, it's okay. I'm glad you care enough to be worried about me, mm?" she says, and then gives her an affectionate squeeze.

"Now, that's also why you and me are here tonight mm? To relax. I've got a stupid holo-vid to watch, snacks dri- Kriff I forgot to bring over the drinks," she waves off the thought with a flippant hand. "With the threat of death no longer looking I can focus a bit more on making sure we all have a good time in what's supposed to be an enjoyable festival, mm?" she chuckles, shaking her head.

[Aurilie Alde]

Aurilie was more than happy to hug Riss once more, "Goodness, I must have sounded like a parent this entire time...I'm just very concerned because I do miss you a lot, Riss." She chuckled on a slightly sheepish note.

"Figures all this talk about drinks and we forget the drinks." She gave an exaggerated roll of her eyes in exasperation in jest. "If you told me a bit earlier, I could have had some bottles of wine shipped over from the mountain. But that's fine enough, as you said, there's probably bound to be plenty of drinking in the future if you rope enough people together. You seem to have a habit of doing that."

She pulled her legs up so that she could cross them in her seat. Brushing some hair from her forehead, she looked to the holo screen as she got ready to watch. "Okay, but you do have a holo-vid. What did you manage to get your hands on? Thrill Kill 9? Moons Apart?"

[Riss]

"I've got a couple drinks in the cold box," she says, leaning up and giving a quick kiss atop Aurilie's head as she slips away and abandons her on the couch for a moment. Turning to her feet she hop-skips her way over a few things scattered on the floor and moves back into the galley. There isn't any wall between the two spaces, and the light on inside the galley is just a touch brighter than over by the couch. "6! By the way. I did say it was stupid, but I mighta forgot to mention it was pretty old too," she laughs, it rings out strangely through the ships space.

Clinking of glass bottles can be heard almost as quick as the door opening. Another set of pattering feet against the metal floor she comes rushing back in and half-jumps back down beside Aurilie, laughing as she does so and legs falling over and against Aurilie's a bit. "Hey," she says, letting herself fall into another bout of laughing. Offering up one of the few drinks she brought with a bright smile.

"I hope you're not breaking the safe for your own special stock on my behalf." She placed a hand to her lips giggled, likely also spurred by the surprise kiss that Riss gave her too. As she moved off to get their drinks, she uncrossed her legs and pulled them close to her, getting ready for viewing. Her gaze followed Riss curiously as she moved through her ship, probably wondering how she dodged everything while skipping. "Six? Which one is that again? That's not the one where they go back in time, right?"

"Whoa, hey, yourself!" She burst out laughing as Riss made her crash landing back of the couch before grinning and taking the offered drink, taking a look at what was on tap, so to speak.

[Riss]

Handing it off amid giggles she says, "Nah, that was.. five I think? I think there was also a bit of that in seven. Six though, had that one big villain with the tattoo going from her jaw down his neck and all the way down," she says, dragging a finger from the spot on their jaw where it was and then down along her neck all the way below the collar of her comfy shirt. It went down further in the movie but Riss didn't continue tracing that mostly cause it was awkward to trace down her side with the same-side hand. Shifting off Aurilie a bit she collects up a blanket abd pulls it over in case they want or need it.

Fixing her way of sitting in the process she set aside her own bottle, something with a strange name written in large aurebesh lettering in purple that really popped against the orange background. Despite how cheap it was it was pretty good with a strange fruit flavor mixed into the beer. A strange mix but it was light and decent to drink. With it set aside she leans in and cozies up against Aurilie's shoulder before finding the control for the holo-projection.

[Aurilie Alde]

"Oh, I see. You know what now? I don't think I've actually seen that one. I hope that's actually a spoiler in the movie." She gave a nudge with her elbow after taking up the blanket around her knees. "But I guess someone looking like what must scream bad guy. These films weren't exactly known for being subtle, not unlike one of the earlier ones where they had some sense to give some swerve for storytelling reasons...or toying with the audience expectations."

She brought the bottle close to her and stopped short from drinking from it after she caught a scent. "Hey now, should we do a toast or commemorate the occasion, dear hostess?"

[Riss]

"I swear these movies are half the reason I have my types. You'd think I'd learn something from the fact they're always the villains but they're just so hot," she gives an exasperated sigh. Shifting into a light chuckle to herself, shifting a little after the nudge.

Grabbing her own she raises it up a bit, "We should.. what're we toasting to? Not dying? Dances with princes?" she laughs at the second suggestion.

[Aurilie Alde]

Aurilie narrowed her eyes in scrutiny at that and shot Riss a look. "Really, now? Wait, you've always found the villains hot for some reason? I've always found them despicable and abhorrent, especially with how they are in the movie. Are you telling me something about your type, Riss? I don't think Prince Joran seems to fit that type, he doesn't seem like he's likely to kidnap you or take you away."

"To not dying is good, that feels like that goes for the both of us." She chuckled on that note. "Dancing with princes is another one...although I guess it could have gone better. Had I know, we really should have done some practice in advance. I was really thinking to friends being together again. It seems like we haven't really skipped a beat...maybe a few jumps here and there, sure."

[Riss]

"Well, yea! I've got my Aurie back," she says warmly as she presses herself up against Aurilie's side in something like a hug but really just squishing herself into her. A light bubbly laugh emanating as she relents after a second or two. Settling amid soft chuckles she shakes her head, "No, Joran is not my usual type.. but someone else is?" she says, chuckling awkwardly.

"Now now, it's not something that can.. last, not really. I mean- he's already kind of a dad? Older too. No wife," she quickly adds that in, the words a little harsher as she's quick to confirm that as a matter of fact. "Anyway.. yea? Villains always seem to match the.. vibe? At least looking at 'em, mm? Personalities.. not something you go to these movies for," she says with another warm laugh.

Aurilie widened her eyes at a thought she had before she narrowed them at Riss. There was the concern that her friend might end up with someone that seemed rather questionable on the surface. "Noo! Did you mean G-"

"Oh, I mean...someone else." She quickly stopped herself from completing her sentence with an anxious laugh once she noticed that she might have been off base with her guess. There was a faint blush on her cheeks as she narrowly caught herself. Looking elsewhere for a moment, she reached over to grab a few more snacks for herself again. Maybe those will be a better distraction. "Uhm, right, kind of a dad. Kind of a dad?! Wait, who's this person, then?"

[Riss]

Amid laughter Riss put the back of her hand against Aurilie's cheek at the outburst, something she used to do to call attention to the blushing. "Bryson Rist," she manages to get out evenly enough to not be misheard. A nod, shake of the head, "Just.. someone who's been good to me the last few days. Really good. Not something that can last but it's nice, mm? I care about him," she admits a touch more sheepishly.

Finding the gusto immediately again, however, she snaps back with "But who did you think I was talking about G- something?" she asks, putting on the pressure by leaning in a bit and nudging her.

Aurilie only found herself blushing further with the hand on her cheek and she let out a sigh in embarrassment. "Bryson Rist...I feel we should probably get acquainted. Of course, without making it awkward for you. Consider me very curious right now. Is it for sure that it won't last? Especially, if you're both delighted by the relationship."

She popped a morsel into her mouth, perhaps as some means to buying time and keeping herself busy from answering. Pointing to herself, she wordlessly pardoned herself while she was chewing. After that piece was done, she would lick her lips and look up at the ceiling. On Riss's ship, there seemed to be a good share of things to look at with all the mess around here. "Well...Perhaps I had thought that potentially you and Prince Gaul might have found some connection together. Not that it's anything more than a wild guess but I had wondered about it, that's all."

[Riss]

Bringing one of hands up she cups over her mouth as she laughs, shaking her head. "Oh no, no no, that one is not for me," she chuckles as she calms down from the laugh. Bright mirthful rumbles as she rights herself up a little bit, "No, Kat's into him though. Described him as being a bit like me so.. no, he's not exactly my type. Well he's my type, but not my type, mm?" Another bubbly chuckle.

Calming a little further she shakes her head, "Maybe.. on Bryson though. It's.. not really that kind of relationship. I'm still living my wild crazy life and he's settled. You know? Just two passing ships, spending a couple good days together," she chuckles, a touch more warmly.

[Aurilie Alde]

"Right, right..." she murmured before taking a gulp of her drink. Maybe she needs a few more of these to make her feel less silly, even if she was going to be a bit silly. To be honest, she might have been more relieved by this revelation. "Well, I guess I could see the type and I thought it was no coincidence that he was involved in not just one but two sporting occasions. I just thought someone was steering the ship a certain way...but I didn't think that Kat had a thing for him. I suppose opposites attract, in a way."

"Opposites attract, as I said," she chuckled after another sip of her drink. "In that case, how did he manage to anchor you long enough to catch your fancy? You've been busy and I thought it was only with the prince."

[Riss]

"Bryson's a bit more.. what my life might look like if I ever chose to settle down, maybe. Wild past, history of excitement and just.. all hidden underneath the veneer of respectability," she says, the last few words not one's she tends to use very often so they markedly still had that Alderaanian accent marked onto them. Bringing one of her hands up she rests her cheek into it, sighing wishfully, "Anyway.. we met because of the situation involving the price on my head. He helped me out of it but more than that he's been actually decent to me. More than I really ever expected at any turn."

[Aurilie Alde]

"Oh, a sort of the other side of the coin. In many ways similar but still different." She nodded on that note before taking a sip and looking curiously to Riss. "Or maybe something eventual?"

"So he's something of a lifesaver. From the rescue it turned to something more from there," she said with a smile as she followed along. "Maybe a sort of hero of your tale? I didn't know you had other companions in your adventure but I can see why you'd want to hold on to someone like that as a friend at the very least."

[Riss]

"He's just.. been decent to me, in real.. really real ways. Mm? It's not so much that I want to hold onto him.. well, not forever, but I do like having him nearby now. Now it's.. nice, really nice," she says, a soft laugh as she shakes her head and focuses back on Aurilie.

"But enough about me and my super cool wild crazy sexy life," another laugh as she finds the control for the holo-projector. "Movie time. Ready?"

Aurilie perhaps had leaned in slightly as Riss spoke fondly of Bryson. Her eyes looked a bit intent as she tried to suss out further details from Riss's earnest words. She would smile broadly after a moment and her knee would give her friend a few nudges. "Oohh...sounds very much to me like someone is smitten."

She laughed and brushed her hair behind her ears as she straightened in her seat to get comfortable once more. "Ready! Just a forewarning, I might be tempted to talk over the movie. I'm not too sure if that's something I've started just doing recently?"
