"I don't have much of a choice at this point, do I? I'm not exactly going to try busting out my holdout pistol and shooting a Jedi now am I? Especially not one that reminds me of someone I used to know..."

She stood up straight off the door. "I can take you to the loot; The chat logs would be there too. There's a good chance someone's been listening in on us though, you know. Considering the area and the fact my fence is around here."

She was grumbling a bit as she opened her smuggling compartments and pulled out the painting and sapphire, not imagining today'd be the sort of day she was showing the sensor deadening cubbies to someone in authority.

"I suspect this is all that is missing, no?"

Arsele stared with a dull expression for a moment, blinking a few times before grabbing her datapad off her bunk as well and opening it up to her conversations with the Cunning Man et. al.

"This is honestly all I have; The handles, the meeting place, and the instructions. I still don't see how any of that is supposed to help you."

Arsele held up the Avishan Sapphire, "Forget something? I know this was my own idea, but I was thinking you'd still want it back. Oh... and maybe a date in addition to the credit chit?"

Dating Jedi NEVER worked out. But it was worth a try to ask.

Subject: (Day 5, MN) - Different Kind of Dance (ask)

OOC: My last post in the thieving thread used a Triumph (of the two I had on the escape roll) to grab something on the way out, a sapphire on display. Arsele grabbed it in case the credits went south on the painting deal, since she was late and she wasn't sure how much the painting was worth otherwise. The name was just fluff saying it was named after a particularly blue planet in the Alderaan system as a sapphire might be.

Arsele sulked even more and handed it over.

Arsele flopped down in one of the seats in her ships hold, "I'm all ears. Anything would be better than heading out to the..." a shudder, "job market. ...wait, did I ever get a name, by the way? You seem to know me, but all I have on you is you're some sort of Jedi slash law enforcement who's taking it easy on me for some reason. Who are you? Who are you with?"

Not that it changed much at this point, but Arsele wanted to at least know who she was working with before she came to any sort of agreements.

If she remembered correctly, this woman was a Jedi Master. What was a senior Jedi doing busting a small time crook like her anyways?

"Sounds like you have a plan. ...I'm certainly not against double crossing a criminal, if the plan's not too risky."

“Well it’s a simple plan, we go to the black market and see if we can sell the sapphire to criminals that do business with the Cunning Man,” she responded.
