Okay, so she'd been a bit busy, that was all. Surely her contact would understand. If not... Well, she had her own black market contacts, so maybe they'd be interested? Either way, she'd risked her neck for this one, so they should at least show some gratitude. Not that she didn't know how expectations like that could go in the underworld...

This was the place the earlier message had said to go though, so here she was. She didn't have the product on her, either the painting or the ancient sapphire, but they were nearby, luckily. She gave a small quiet knock.

A woman behind her said warmly, "Lady Girard, am I saying the name correctly, can I have a moment of your time?"

Arsele turned around to see who the voice belonged to. Had they been waiting for her outside? Was this them? ...it was always hard to tell based solely off holonet chat handles. They were using her name though and not her handle though, so that was ominous.

"You... are."

She leaned back against the door she'd knocked on nonchalantly, "And how can I help you?"

"Jedi Knight Thy Yulani, I apologize for interrupting your day, but I had some questions about a purchase you made from the museum gift shop," she said sweetly.

A Jedi knight? And where had she heard that name before...?

"What, right now? Um... sure. Any way I can help I suppose?"

She was thrown a bit off, but hey. Hopefully this wasn't as bad as she feared.

"Hoping to help, you are not in trouble, but I am concerned you could be. Would you like some tea?" she offered.

"Tea? I'll pass. A bit late for that for me, and the cold never bothered me anyways."

Arsele folded her arms under her chest as she leaned there.

"Not like they're answering the door here anyways, so it seems I have time for your... concerns."

"Well what did you take from the museum and why?" she asked.

An eyebrow went up, "What, from the giftshop? I don't recall taking anything... was all useless knick-knacks, tourist stuff, and ironic t-shirts anyways. What, was someone saying I had?"

[Dapper Dog]

"I am trying to help you Lady Girard, to do the right thing, maybe this was just a game for you but I feel you could be getting mixed up in something very dangerous. I want to help," she offered.

[Arsele Girard]

"Believe me, not playing games here. But real life has consequences, whether that be from accusations or from being accused. So you'll forgive me if I don't necessarily understand what you're talking about and ask for where you heard such a thing. Because it's important. Unless you really want to protect someone, in which case I guess I can just be slandered anonymously? Or do the... Jedi just know things?"

“You are a good liar, impressive, but I saw you last night, dead to rights, so to speak,” she responded not really put off by the matter.

“I won’t press but as a Jedi I will have to pass over what I have to local authorities and they will hardly be as pleasant.”

A small frown, "You could tell it was me through a full body environmental suit? Is that a Jedi trick as well then? Or have we met before and I'm just not remembering? I thought I left any entanglements with Jedi long ago."

[Dapper Dog]

“Force things,” she said waving her hand.

“Eyes and ears are not the only we perceive the world, Lady Girard. I understand you are nervous or maybe concerned but my hope is that you didn’t do this on a whim and maybe were asked to do it by someone else. If so I can return the object and maybe get to the root of things and you can go your way. Just try and stop stealing, it’s well bad.”

"It's also easy credits. I'm sure having oaths and stuff might make you above the need and desire for those, but for the rest of us..."

She let out a sigh, dropping the act, "So, what? I tell you someone did send me out to grab this for them, I return the items to you, you do your thing, and I just go on my merry way? Not a credit richer but off the hook?"

"That would be the long and short of it," she admitted.

A small chuckle and a shake of her head, "And I get a reputation as a snitch. Anyways, you were right that someone did ask me to take the stuff from the museum. I came here to see about payment. But as usual, it's all through anonymous holonet IDs and such you know. So I'm not sure how much help I could be even if I were to tell you all I know."

"Well it can be our little secret, and if you give me these names no matter how insignificant, I can offer a small reward courtesy for aiding my investigation," she offered.
