Alderaan - Love and Intrigue

Delmi leaned against the wall on the outside of the room where Julio was being held for them. She looked at Jocasta once up and down to make sure the other woman was ready for what she might see on the other side.

"You should probably go in first... He's probably not feeling too great." She offered.

Jocasta had rushed over after Maj. Koor told her Julio had been arrested the night before. She was feeling guilty. Guilty that she had given Julio the guns that he had used in his attempt, guilty that she hadn't been able to get to Julio before he'd done something stupid, and guilty that she was going to have to keep lying to him.

Wearing her service uniform and bearing the full presence of an ADF officer, she thanked the guard and made her way in.

Julio looked up and frowned but didn't say anything.

Jocasta looked back and waited for the guard to leave so they could have some privacy. She looked at Julio, "Are you okay, injured?"

"Fine," he said gruffly. "Kriff went down, we were not good enough. End of story."

"Not good enough? What part of the plan was go after the Royal Family? I thought this was about taking out Imperials, not our own? Whose idea was that?"

"They are just a symptom, and Joran hates the Empire just as much as any of us." She lets her frustration show, "I may be able to get us close to the cause. You said the movement will go on, are there others you know, ones more reliable than the group that ran out on you last night?"

"Out of my hands now, but the movement is more than just me, obviously," he said proudly.

She leans in to Julio, "Listen, I got you the guns to do a job and you blew it. I should've forced my way in before, but we can still salvage this. I can get close to the Sith delegate, Lana Beniko, but I can't do this alone. I need some people I can rely on, people who are committed. Are you going to help me find some people like that or are you going to sit there gloating in your defeat while the Imperials walk all over us?"

"If you can get close to that Sith reach out to BlackKat66, it's their fight now," he said grimly. "At least I can be a martyr."

"Alright, that's something I can work with. Hang in there and if you think of anything else useful, let the guards know you need to reach out to me. They know I was your CO and they'll contact me."

Jocasta knocks on the door and waits for the guard to let her out. She heads over to Delmi to let her know what she'd found out.

"HeadShotz huh? Got something similar from the SIS..." Delmi replied.

"I was just on there..."

"Well, Julio gave me his screen name, so that may be able to get us in with BlackKat66. I told him I could get close to the Sith delegate, so maybe we can mention something like that to bait her out?" Jocasta said hopefully.

“I’m supposed to play with them again tomorrow.” She replied.

“Guess this is our best shot.”
