Crime Doesn't Pay [D7LM]

[Niall Organa]

Three in front, two watching sides and the rear. That was the way to do it.

They had the location from, well, his wife actually. Hyta Jung was often here, and had committed a number of crimes. In truth, Niall would be surprised to actually find her, but they could get lucky, right?

As one of the members in front, Niall approached through the front. As usual, he was dressed in his uniform, cape and all. He had a friendly smile on his handsome features; all friends here, yes.

[Layne Hoshin]

Layne would probably be in the front; letting her naturally intimidating presence and well-armed appearance give weight to the old saying 'Fuck around, and find out'.

Also, in case of sudden explosions, she figured she could take more of a beating than some of the squishier members of the team. She *did* hope someone more perceptive than her was up front as well, though... since she *would* have mentioned the possibility of boobytraps.

In any case, she would call upon the Force and enhance her defenses, just in case.

Aly stood behind NIall, her left hand over the hilt of her weapon, frows burrowed in concentration. She was dressed in her Jedi robes, ready for anything.

OOC: Can I use Sense to try and see if I sense Blackkat specifically?

The port was busy with many inbound travelers from offworld for the race. The cafe that she was at before seems busy as well.

She can sense the presence of the woman, and others about seven in total inside the café.

"She's in there, with 7 others." She settled her stance. "I'm not sure if they know we're coming yet."

[Tethys Carrack]

Following the plan, Tethys semi-salutes the others with a casual wave, then moves along into position to cover the side exit in case anyone tries to bolt when the team make themselves known.

Niall gave Aly a smile and a nod. "Let Tethys know, if you could." He made a vague sort of gesture with one hand. "And she can let Keyhote know."

He nodded again. "Remember, quickly but calmly. Perhaps we can do this peacefully. They haven't yet hurt many people." He looked around. "Ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." She smiled and flashed the number 7 towards Tethys.

"Let's try de-escalation first."

[Layne Hoshin]

"Do we know if the others in there are a part of it, or just bystanders?"

[Alysele Organa]

"I can't tell for sure. We should be ready for innocents to be involved."

[Layne Hoshin]

Layne unclipped her darksaber, flipped it on; checking to see if it worked...

...then turned it off again before she looked up, seeming confused.

"Hmm? Oh. Ready for innocents to be involved. Yes."

It was *possible* she was joking.

It was also possible she wasn't.

This was Layne, after all.

Keyhote placidly keeps an eye on the and rear while Sando paces nearby a little more nervously, holding a comlink.

"Calm my friend. These people know what they are doing, what foe could possibly resist 3 jedi....or 2 jedi and a kid....or a jedi, a kid and a noblewoman. It is not easy to tell sometimes. And the good Major-Captain is here and he is ever a voice of reason."

Keyhote pulls down the brim on a beach umbrella sized straw hat.
"We must simply make sure they do not attempt to flee from the rear as villains are want to do."

Niall nodded, steadfastly ignoring Layne. "Very well. Let us proceed."

He lead the way into the building, although with frequent glances at his wife, letting her Jedi senses guide them.

[Dapper Dog]

The interior is a busy café and sitting at one table is the woman everyone is here to find. She is dressed casually and looks a bit shocked at all of the forces allayed against her. She was trapped and she draws a blaster pistol from under her jacket and pointed it at a bystander and said, “I won’t hesitate to end them!”

[Niall Organa]

Niall raised his hands. "That's not necessary, Hyta." He said, his tone firm. "No one needs to get hurt. That's not what we want."

He tilted his head, regarding her. "Is that what you want?"

[Dapper Dog]

"I want immunity," she responded.

[Niall Organa]

"We want full cooperation." Niall said steadily. "And your word that you weren't directly involved in any killings."

[Dapper Dog]
