The hound might have fallen for the traps but they clearly knew a degree of pack tactics. The knight ran to the hound who seemed ready to turn back and smashed her red ionblade straight into it's face. He might not be a droid but the electrical discharge would stun him for sure

The beast yelped in pain as it staggered un the blow. It was still standing as the third packmate tried to chew at the Jedi. It finds some purchase trying to rend her with it's vicious bite.

Seeing the hounds stop running after Baesal darted forward to engage with them, Blai moves forward, Elur still at his heels waiting for orders. He then carefully takes aim at the hound Baesal just hit with the Cryo Rifle and shoots.

The cold beam hits the hound squarely, hopefully keeping it quiet! Elur starts growling at the hounds, but still keeps at Blai's feet.

The second hound goes down! The final hound tries to lash out at the closest of the group, Baesal, determined to fight to the bitter end. It failed to do grievous harm but damaged the ion-saber with it's gnashing fangs.

The hound is still standing but the blast has slowed it down immensely.

Seeing Galen's shot hitting the hound that's still standing, Blai takes another shot, getting a clean hit. As the hound gets slowed down even further by the cold beam, he whistles to Elur and points forward, and the she-wolf darts towards the hound still reeling from the hit. The wolf doesn't quite find space for a bite, but its circling of the hound makes it even easier for Baesal to approach it if she wants to.

"Alright. We need to secure them and figure out what we're doing next." Galen quickly checked each hound. "Baesal, do you need a stimpack?"

Blai looks at the Togruta that got hit, somewhat worried. "Miss Zyn, are you alright??", he says, and soon rushes forward after Elur, moving closer to the wolf and the girl.

He quickly takes a look at the Hounds stuck in the traps to check their state, then kneels down near the hound he hit last. Does it look... normal? Does it look like he could get it tamed, somehow?

Hearing Galen, he nods.

"We should definitely secure them. Maybe tie them down."

He then looks towards where the others should be. "I wonder how the others are doing... Should we try to contact them?" Then a look at another direction "Or... seize the opportunity to have a look at the cave?"

Oof, forgot to mention the Vet kit as part of the equipment at the start of the thread. Is it necessary to check the hounds' state?
