Here, Doggy, Doggy, Doggy... [Day 4, EM]

Galen began binding the hounds.

"They should be secure until we can transport them somewhere."

[Baesal Zyn]

She happily took the stim from Blai

''Thanks''

She used it immediately

''I need better armor''

[Galen Sol]

"You kept us safe." Galen said. "I don't know how well we would have done without you."

[Blai Frayus]

Blai nodded at both of them as he sets to help Galen bind the hounds. "Galen's right, you taking to the frontline kept us safe."

It takes them a while to get the job done, but at least these hounds would be safe to carry off.

He then gets around to the traps, checking if any of them could be salvaged to be redeployed.

"So... should we take a first look at the cave?"

May be a stupid question, but can the traps be reused? At least those that didn't get activated by the hounds? I'm not sure if they're supposed to be 1 use-only items even on a failure.

She chuckled

''You guys are kind but we all know I did not do that much'' she took a breather as the stim worked ''Allright, let's check this place''

"Right. Let's go." he agreed.

[Dapper Dog]

The cave had sand drifting down and they can hear the sounds of battle joined against the beast, Black Tooth as they approached the small cave opening.

The interior was dark with only light from exterior giving some illumination but not much.

[Galen Sol]

Galen checked his Respirator again and took out a glow rod, before leading the way.

[Dapper Dog]

The quarters are cramped but manageable as they wind deeper into the earth about fifty meters before opening up into a large cavern with a large pool of water.

[Galen Sol]

Galen looked around for any sign that the hounds, or anything else, had been here.

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal had taken care to check that her suit was still sealed. After a quick repair she followed Galen down the tunnel.

''Think we should check the water?''

[Blai Frayus]

Blai made sure his own respirator was properly set on his face, took out his glowrod and followed the others.

Like Galen, he was looking for signs of the hounds' presence here, but also for any other tracks - all around but especially near the water.

"Do we have a way to analyse the water?", he asked after Baesal's question. Maybe one of them had a proper chem scanner?

[Galen Sol]

"I don't." he shook his head.

Kneeling closer to the water, he lowered the glow rod to get a good look, searching for signs of contamination.

[Baesal Zyn]

''I do actually.'' she reached for her back pack ''I had all the tools prepared after our talk two days ago.''

*flips destiny to have the stuff we need*

OOC: Are you testing the waters?

[Galen Sol]

Galen collected the necessary samples for the scanner.

[Blai Frayus]

"Hah, great! I try to be prepared, and still..", Blai said with a nod and a grin to the Togruta.

While Galen got the samples, he kept looking for tracks near the water and around the pool.

I'm guessing we're analysing the water, yeah. Got YYG for Education, cancelling two setbacks, and can reroll once, if Galen and Baesal want me to have a go at it. Or if one of you want to roll I'm fine with that too.

As for looking for tracks, DD - any rolls, or is there just nothing of interest?

The pool looks like it could be quiet deep and goes further back... if one can hold their breath.
