It gets deep quickly and very hard to see, the waters are brackish and seem filled with pollutants.

Blai spent some time focused on trying to make sense of the analysis, but he was relieved and nodded to Galen seeing him keep the frailer Jedi secured to help if something happened.

The whole thing did seem strange, though... so after some time, he decided to expand his senses outward to try and sense if there were other living beings in the cave. Nearby, at least...

Blai answered on the comm, but also addressing Galen.
“The sensor readings point to common contaminants from industrial activity... but also something else that’s not in its database. And... it seems odd. Like it shouldn’t exist. Taking a sample to a lab might be good, but... I’m not sure science will help us here.”

His eyes narrowed for a while before he spoke again. “Also... I don’t feel there’s any life in the cave, or in the lake. Like... any life at all. It’s disturbing, even... whatever’s happening here definitely doesn’t seem natural. Please be careful, miss Zyn”

He looks around again. Is the pool of water the only path to be followed in the cave?

He then nods at Galen. "Yeah... I wonder if whoever did whatever they did here knew what they were doing to these poor hounds, though. It almost looks like an experiment gone bad. Or a bad experiment..."

"I hope the others are alright...", he then said, looking at the comm, then dialing Aurilie's contact. "Let's give them a ring."

"There's a fair chance it's intentional." he said with a frown. "We're going to have to search the ruins."

He nods. "We will. I was hoping the cave would lead us there, though..."

He then sends a message on the comm to Aurilie.

We've secured five of the hounds to take back for analysis. Now at that cave - devoid of life, polluted and... There's some odd corruption. Have are things on your side? Do you need backup?
