Culling The Hounds (D4, EM)

So they knew the pack was ill-tempered and probably mutated, and that there was someone in the area that might be controlling them. Kat really hoped it wasn't a Sith, or something similarly bad still hanging out... she had read the annals of the Great Sith War, and knew the stories of what the Sith could do with alchemy and modifying lifeforms to suit their needs for conflict.
She had hoped her armor would see a break after the war now, but here she was, covered up in the
battle armor. The brown cloak over it marked her clearly as a Jedi. Considering the mission at hand, she had a light backpack with her with a few extra things.

"Finally, the hour of the hound is at hand! Tonight we rid Alderaan of monsters who bedevil it. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers. For he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother!-"
Looking around
"-and sister, or close friend. What is important is that today few stood against many, that love stood against hate!"

Aurilie was dressed in her rugged wear and her nice coat draped around her shoulders for good luck (and extra padding). While she was hoping to avoid the worst of it, animals could be unpredictable and sometimes the hunt takes a life of its own. She never went hunting with a Jedi before. It should be interesting, to say the least. Seeing as these weren't exactly natural beasts, she wasn't so sure she wanted one of these on her wall anyway. The safety of Alderaan was a priority here.

Breela was rested and ready to go. She was arrayed in Jedi Armor beneath her robes with one arm out as she stretched out her nerves. She nods at the others and says a soft prayer before falling in.

OOC: Everyone's here.
The plan is that this group will approach openly, thus likely to attract the attention of the Hounds and dealing with them. We want to avoid exploring the tunnels until the direct threat of the Hounds are dealt with, so we don't get boxed in by hounds and whatever is in the tunnels when exploring those.
So this is a direct assault.

OOC: Giving the Trap-team a chance to set up their traps, then this group is going for a direct assault yes.
The plan is that it's better to deal with what's up here, where we have open ground and can retreat if need be, before we go into the tunnels later (or trap team can explore the tunnels while we fight, if they so decide).

Black Tooth lumbered it was a massive corrupted kath hound, nearly as tall as small freighter and rippling with savage muscles and rage. It howled at the hunters a blood curdling sound as it crashed through buildings with easy and ripped into the Hutt and all around him with a savage fury!

Black Tooth's charge was met by Hutt steel and there's a horrible grinding sound as the huge beasts clamps its fangs down on Keyhote's tail, savaging the appendage and drawing blood.
Day 4 EM Culling the Hounds, Horrific Injury crit on myself, which characteristic?:
1d10 5
((Agility reduce by 1 until critical injury is healed))
Keyhote for his part stands tall, locking eyes with the creature before slamming his forehead into its skull with a great crash to drive it back
Day 4 EM Culling the Hounds, Fear check, hard difficulty, boost from V1, intense focus, spending a destiny:
3eP+1eA+1eB+3eD 2 successes, 2 advantage
((1 destiny spent, boost dice to next fear test))
And then he saw that the creature's claws had found the good Prince Aurilie. And Keyhote's eyes blazed gold and furious.
"How
dare you?!?!?! Vile fiend, your fight is with me!"
And with a roar he brought his great blade down on Black Tooth's face leaving a savage wound that laid bare the evil within
Day 4 EM Culling the Hounds, melee attack on Black Tooth, maneuver for aim:
2eP+3eA+1eB+2eC+1eS 1 success, 3 advantage, 1 Despair
Day 4 EM Culling the Hounds, crit #1 on Blacktooth, spending 3 advantage:
1d100+50 54
((13 damage pierce 2, fearsome wound. Also a despair in there :O ))
Wounds: 25/4
Strain: 14/2

The two engage in combat and although the Hutts strikes a solid blow it slides off the thick hide and strikes errant hyper fuel igniting it! Creating a massive wall of fire and heat! The other mate of Black Tooth moved forward and howled at the Hutt. The forceful howling startles the Hutt causing him to drop his weapon.
OOC: The creature suffers 6 wounds and the Critical Injury reduced to 24, Off-Balance so a setback to next action. Despair used to create a wall of fire cutting off the Hutt and Black Tooth, including the pack, from everyone else without jumping over it or rushing through it! The hyperfuel flames are a Hazard of 9 if one wants to move through it.
Hutt missed but uses advantage to force the Hutt to drop his weapon.
