While the othe group prepared to move in, another group was setting traps and hoping to create a distraction for the hounds. Galen set his electro snares down for a moment, while he considered the best placement for them.

Galen worked quickly to set out his lures. He found a perfect spot for one. The other was harder to place, but he hoped it could at least be a distraction.

He waited for the signal from Blai to turn on the chem lure.

Blai found a decent spot for one of the snares, but similarly had some difficulty finding a good place for the second one... although it could possibly work as a distraction as well - or maybe one of the hounds could be led to it afterwards with some work.

He gestured for Elur to keep close to him, then waved to Galen to give him the go ahead.


OOC:
Do we need a check to set the Chem Lure as well? We've got two of those, if it helps, could set both of them.

EDIT: Also, could I commit a die to Sense before we set the lures?

I believe we just activate them.

It's a Hard Discipline for the hounds to resist.

Blai activates a Lure on his side as well, and retreats with the wolf to observe. Hopefully they could keep these hounds down...

How far away are the hounds? And can we get a weapon out to keep at the ready, or does that wait for init (if it happens)?

The togruta kept her eyes sharp, using her goggles to track possible movements. She already had sword and shield in hand, ready to be ignited.

(OOC: commited to sense-enemy attack rolls upgraded twice for two attacks against her, Soak 1, defense 4 when shield is up. W13/S13)

Blai got the Cryoban Rifle among his things and kept it at the ready, then seemed to concentrate more on their surroundings. Elur kept at his feet, ready for orders.

OOC:
Waiting on whether Baesal and I should roll Stealth as well. Also - don't assume Elur could provide an Assist if so?

1 FD committed to sense if that's allowed; attack rolls upgraded once for 1 attack against him.
CryoBan Rifle readied if allowed.

Two of the hounds got trapped by the group but three of them were on the rest of you. They were howling and hungry for flesh.

OOC: Cool checks at Simple for initiative. They start at Medium.
