[D2 MM, Ashlins] Permanent Solution

[Zeno Thul]

Zeno knocked on Ashlin's door, having been invited by her to discuss a potential project for future handling of the killik issue. He didn't know exactly what it would entail but he certainly didn't mind the possibility of a joint venture between a Thul and Organa.

Though other House Organa members housed in the are looking unhappy about his presence.

[Ashlin Organa]

The door slid open to reveal a small girl dressed in plain, heavy duty pants and a tank top. A smudge decorated the tip of her nose. She blinked a moment. "Ah, is it that time already? You must be Zeno Thul. I'm Ashlin Organa! Please, come in. Ah, mind the parts," she said, stepping back. The room inside was actually fairly neat aside from a twisted collection of metal, wires, and circuit boards surrounding the desk in the corner. "Would you like some kaff or anything?"

[Zeno Thul]

"I am," he says with a nod. He follows her in when she invites him. "It's a pleasure to meet you Ashlin. I do not need anything, no. But thank you for the offer."

He looks around at all the stuff. He was no mechanical genius, but he understood what most of the stuff was. Could even kind of sense how they were supposed to go together.

"Looks like you enjoy your tinkering."

[Ashlin Organa]

"A pleasure to meet you, as well," she replied with a nod and a bright smile. "Of course. I worked hard to do what I love. It would only be better if I was in orbit."

[Zeno Thul]

"I'd help if I could the orbital problem, but my personal ship is a scout ship... so not too useful. Not much space in the sensor operator's seat," he says with a chuckle.

[Ashlin Organa]

"Same with my ship," she chuckled. "So, you're here about the subsonic emitter, right?"

[Zeno Thul]

"Yes. I've heard that you were hoping to get some assistance getting hold of the materials," he replied with a nod. "I am glad to help if I can."

[Ashlin Organa]

"Yeah! We've got more than half of it ready to go, but there are some specialized components we haven't been able to get ourselves. If you're willing to help, it would be appreciated."

[Zeno Thul]

"Of course. Whatever components you still need, give me a list and I'll have them delivered as soon as I can," he replies. "And I can try to help out with the construction, but I suspect your understanding is far more advanced than mine. Can probably hand you the right tools and components as you need them at the very least."

[Ashlin Organa]

"Hey, I can always use an assistant. And my goal for this festival was to make friends over anything else, so it works out." She took out a list with several components she needs in multiples, handing it to him. "I need to make a few different ones to test effectiveness, but this should cover everything."

[Zeno Thul]

He accepts the list and looks it over. "Should be easy enough," he says with a nod. "I'll get on it and have someone pick up all the parts you're missing."

[Ashlin Organa]

"Great! I appreciate the help. A member of House Ulgo contributed, too. I'm glad it's working out like this."

[Zeno Thul]

"Well, it's a planetary concern. It needs the people of the planet to solve it," he says with a nod.

[Ashlin Organa]

"Exactly my thought," she agreed. "But I hear, 'it's more complicated than that' a lot in regard to politics, so I don't know if anyone would object to it for some other reason."

[Zeno Thul]

"Eh, the politics are more complicated. The way we act or react is simple and personal," he says with a nod.

[Ashlin Organa]

"Hmm... Well, I'll leave that arena to the people who specialize in it and just hope this part works out," she said with a shrug.

[Zeno Thul]

"Luckily I have my wife for that stuff. I've always been more of a doer than a sayer," he replies with a chuckle.

[Ashlin Organa]

"Ooooh, lucky lucky. Maybe that's what I should look for in a husband eventually."

[Zeno Thul]

"You could try my method. Go in completely blind with an arranged marriage," he offers as an option.
