"Your child?" She asked.

[Dapper Dog]

"Your child?" She asked.

"What you think me too hideous to have found love?" they responded.

[Delmi Koor]

She shook her head, "No... Just haven't seen the little whippersnappers running around. Got a family picture?"

[Dapper Dog]

"No, but surely you have seen Baroness Miyi Thul out and about," they responded.

[Delmi Koor]

“Oh, so she’s your daughter? I think I saw her once at the soup thing Jameela put on. She’s quite beautiful.” She nodded.

[Delmi Koor]

While Delmi sat conversing with Xero warmly about his family over the communicator she mulled over the question of whether or not she should add more context to her previous statements...

It was possible Xero was also a part of the conspiracy... or he could be someone who could help her find the two people in question...

Why am I having to test these people out instead of them... me?

[Dapper Dog]

“Oh, so she’s your daughter? I think I saw her once at the soup thing Jameela put on. She’s quite beautiful.” She nodded.

"She has a satisfactory aesthetic," they replied.

[Delmi Koor]

She smiled, "Just what every daughter wants to hear."

She leaned back in her chair, "So I got a question for ya, Xero. This whole separatist movement... and the protests going on around it. What does House Thul want done with that? Seems like that's becoming a problem for the Panteers and us..."

[Dapper Dog]

“We are handling that problem, but there is only so much that can be done without trampling the rights of the people. It’s democracy,” they responded.

“But the more troublesome elements we take care.”

[Delmi Koor]

"Any troublesome elements that need to be... cared for right now?" She asked.

"Goin' back to what I said before... I'm thinkin' that wherever we see the biggest amounts of tension is probably where we should be looking most closely."

[Dapper Dog]

“Let’s see how they respond to current measures. Why, you seem to be angling to something specific?” they offered.

[Delmi Koor]

"I don't know..." She replied.

"Gut feeling I guess... That and... I've been interacting with a hothead from the 'movement'. A guy named Julio Ulgo came with me out on that House Syrush affair... He seemed pretty pissed off, but did not seem like some brilliant mastermind. Seemed like he was more the type to be taken advantage of by somebody else... but I could be wrong."

[Dapper Dog]

“I know the name, he is an associate of Tuvi and his paramour of sorts. He is a thug, probably considers himself a leader. Perfect stooge for greater powers,” Xero responded.

[Delmi Koor]

"I hear the Tuvi kid is... missing...? That doesn't sound like Julio will be too happy about that..." She stated.

[Dapper Dog]

Xero was quiet and said, “Tuvi was a problem, Julio will be a short term issue and will find his blaze of glory and be no one’s problem soon enough.”

[Delmi Koor]

"So the Tuvi thing was us? Do we know who steps in to fill that... void? Or does it just fizzle out without him?" She asked.

[Dapper Dog]

"It was an unaffiliated asset, we just assisted his transition to the next life," they responded.

[Delmi Koor]

“And that handles it? Or does it now become a whack-a-gundark game now?” She asked.

[Dapper Dog]

“We made a tactical decision, Tuvi was a long-term threat, while Julio lacks any long term planning. He will find a way to do damage and probably get himself killed. Acceptable losses for a long term gain,” Xero responded.

“Consider it a form of triage.”

[Delmi Koor]

“I see. No skin off my back…” She replied simply.

Xerox’s comments unfortunately did not persuade Delmi to think he was worthy of the intel she’d gotten from her mother. Taking out Tuvi was far too convenient a decision for anyone working under him that might now take the reins.

“I’ll keep an eye on Julio. Let you know what I can.”
