"You just met me a few days, and you have our whole future planned out?" she said with a smile.

"I would say you are crazy but we both know that to be true. I... I am taken aback. You're serious aren't you?"

"Well, n' quite our whole future." Garth admits with a cheeky grin. "Ah gots no idea 'f yer thoughts on kids." He jokes, putting the cart waaaaay before the horse.

Reaching that little bit further across the table, Garth runs his fingertips over Miyi's knuckles as his voice gets a little more serious.

"Ah'm a little crazy that's true, but ah'm not crazy enough t' think this is love, not yet. We barely know each other as y' said, but ah think it could be an ah'd like t' spend some time t'gether findin' out."

Garth opens his mouth to reply as the waiter returns with their order. Several plates of food are gently placed on the table, a feast for all the senses.

"I will say I were plannin' on continuin' t' serve the Republic Navy, with a good woman at m' side t' keep me in line ah may even be able t' pick up that promotion." Garth replies, ignoring the threat, as what Miyi spoke of was the farthest thing on his mind.

"Sounds like y' got aspirations a'plenty Miyi." Garth comments, still a little concerned with the turnaround she displayed just minutes ago. Concerned enough that he reached out towards her to try and get a feel for her mental state.

She is charmed but also wary of his intentions, there is a hint of fear of the unknown. Yet he does push through and can tell that she is enjoying this more than parading for Joran, but duty demands she parade.

Garth stabs a piece of flatbread with a fork and dips it in the cheesy fondue, raising it to his mouth for a taste.

Garth was sure Miyi was getting the better of their conversation, but from what he sensed, she needed reassurance, so he was happy to provide it. Reaching his hand toward one of the platters, he lifted up a chocolate covered fruit - something from the berry family it looked like - and held it out to Miyi.

"Lord Bouris prob'ly knows more o' my Ulgo kin th'n me. I don' even remember mah birth mother, but ah sometimes dream about her, she and my da died when ah were young. She were one o' them Jedi, but ah didn' learn that till much later neither, ah've seen paintings of her in the Ulgo Fortress though, Lady Varidess Ulgo."

"This lovely family on Onderon," Garth responded, a little of a monotone creeping into his voice as he was captivated by Miyi's lips as she ate the fruit.

"Mah shuttle crashed there after the ship mah family were on blew up. They treated me as one o' their own, ah couldn't 've wished fer more. Ah had two lovin' parents, newlyweds when they found me apparently, then as th' years went on they were blessed wi' three more - two brothers and a sister fer the house. It were small, noisy and chaotic, but it was home."

Curious Garth asks. "Did y' have any siblings growin' up?"

“No, it was… hard enough just with us on Nar Shaddaa. I am sorry about your parents, the birth ones, but at least you had a loving family. That’s more than most can say,” she said.

Garth nods. "Ah feel it, an' it feels me. Knight Lunda was th' first t' notice it, an' Knight Carrack's been helpin' me learn about it." The colour slightly drops from his face.

" 't ain't a problem is it? Ah know some people have strong views on these things."

"Well the Jedi know, Knight Carrack's been reportin' in, and the less the Sith know, maybe the better." He answers before shifting the subject as he topped up the wine glasses.

"So y' said ah had some qualities y' look for in a guy," Garth commented, hearkening back to an earlier comment. "Is it to much've a peek behind th' curtain t' ask what y' do look for?"

"Well ah s'pose ah c'n live with that fer now." He replied just as a crack of lightning far in the distance momentarily illuminated the night sky.

"Knight Lunda was just a padawan back then, ah were just talkin' t' her about a dream an she thought it mighta been somethin' wi' the Force. Knight Carrack, she were one o' the few who hung around after the engagement was over, ah'd trusted her wi' my life durin' the fighting, seemed only natural t' trust her wi' this too."

"Ah hope ye've got someone too, someone y' can share those inner thoughts 'n secrets with." His voice softens until it's barely audible over the pattering rain on the restaurant windows.
