"I'll see to it that the Chairman and our Commerce Minister make it a top priority. I do think this is the start of something beautiful between our two worlds." He left it at that, not wanting to risk marring the conversation with any unpleasantness.

"It's been a long time since I've met someone as shrewd in these matters as you, Countess. I can only imagine the talent in managing the affairs of your House and your business." The smile at that he gave was genuine in admiration.

[Dapper Dog]

She placed her glass down and said, “Well I have a portfolio of businesses and investments and play a major role in shaping the wealth of House Organa. Land and castles are useful but actual wealth comes from our extensive investments across the Galactic Republic. Every House has to manage their affairs, some are more astute than others.”

“But I would not wish to bore you with such minute details. Do you intent to attend the Thranta race? It is favored by the Queen, in fact she will be participating in the race directly. She is a very experienced rider.”

[Durasay Mixo]

"You'd be surprised by what bores me." Durasay grinned at that, but let the subject drop away. "I will have to be in attendance. I've never see a Thranta race, I imagine it's gotta be pretty exciting."

He sat up a bit straighter. "While I got no skill for riding, I love seeing a good competition."

[Dapper Dog]

"Really, I am curious about any Pantoran competitions or past times," she asked.

[Durasay Mixo]

"Well, there's one that I think is wholly unique to Pantora." He watched her with vested interest. "Oe a few variations on one. Bobsledding. And then the luge and skeleton." He nodded.

"A track made up of ice, heading downhill with turns and extreme g-forces. Teams, in the case of bobsleds, or one being on the back on a small sled for luge, or on their stomach if skeleton. They navigate the course, trying to compete for the best time. It's quite thrilling to watch, or just spend time with friends and fans in the stands."

“That sounds like an adrenaline rush, I have to see this, it sounds fantastic. I don’t think we have anything of the sort on Alderaan. Delaya it’s mostly swoop races and more common Republic past times. I actually prefer Delaya, Alderaan is a beautiful place but I like the life and movement of the city and the comforts of urban living,” she said warmly.

“I can only take the country life in small doses, everything moves so slowly here.”

[Durasay Mixo]

"Capital City is a hustle and bustle of activity. Nothing like Coruscant, obviously, but nothing truly compares to that." He related, "I'm with you, preferring that city life. But..." the Pantoran male chuckled, shaking his head.

"Sometimes I yearn for the void of space, being most at home on a freighter."

[Dapper Dog]

"Really, a simple freighter? Like some privateer?" she asked.

[Durasay Mixo]

"Like some Privateer!?" There was mock hurt in his voice, but the smile never disappeared. "I'd hope more so than just some Privateer. A singular Privateer. But even still part of a whole."

A sip from the wine. "It's a life of adventure, is what it always feels like."

[Dapper Dog]

“No offense just shocking, I never would have thought an ex-senator had such an adventurous spirit. I have a bit of my own though I have never been part of a crew like that,” she said honestly.

“Are you still a member of this crew or are those days gone by?”

[Durasay Mixo]

"They're who I arrived with. The Turtle. You won't find a more professional crew or a better ship to hire." Durasay replied, the pride in the ship and her crew beaming through his words.

"It's worth pursuing. Just going off into the stars, seeing what destiny awaits."

[Dapper Dog]

She was thoughtful and said, "Interesting, a senator and a privateer... so many talents."

"Would you be open to meeting another time, less business more social?"

[Durasay Mixo]

Durasay found himself smiling, though it was more subdued, his eyes focusing again on Veresh's. "I'd like that, Countess."

[Dapper Dog]

"I will have to consult my schedule, but I would like that as well, perhaps we can meet on the cruise and failing that if you like something more personal I can show you my personal collection," she responded.

[Durasay Mixo]

"Your collection?" An eyebrow raised, head tilting slightly. "I’ll admit that I would be curious to see that, especially with your guidance. However, whatever your schedule allows for, I would be pleased as punch to be your companion for an event." Durasay beamed, feeling quite relaxed.

Pleased by the outcome the dinner ends amicably until next time.
