Famished [Day 5, ME]

[Riss]

Riss' elbows rest more on the table, bent so she can rest her face in them for a mere moment. Running her hands over her face from chin to forehead before brushing through her hair. There was a flush to her whole face, a hand coming up to wave air into her face. Looking across the table she focuses on Kat, locking eyes. There's only confusion and pain behind her own as it all clashes inside of her head. Hand coming down to her chest she feels her own heart bet for a moment before she shakes her head. With purpose she slips away from the seat and stands, calling back, "I need air," and walks right out the front again.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

"Of course. I'll be here, waiting for you." Riss probably needed the space.

Because she had made a big mess of this.

As Riss steps outside, Kat puts her face in her hands for a moment, finding she needed that brief time by herself too to compose herself.

"I sure made a mess of this... kriff-biscuits..."

[Riss]

Riss doesn't return.

[Katarzyna Ulgo]

Realising that Riss wasn't coming back, Kat sighed heavily.

She had taken a risk in telling Riss this much, but she had done it to protect her. To avoid getting further entangled with this man. But Riss was... going to be Riss.

"Damnit..." pressing her hand against her forehead, Kat held back her frustrations. Maybe she was getting bad at balancing her attachments.
