"Not all people, just th' ones ah think are worth it. An' you are." Garth states the latter in such a matter of fact manner that it's clear he won't accept any discussion about her self worth.

Garth was prepared to let Miyi digest, both his words and their dinner, so sat in silence (well near silence) as well. Some of the gastronomic delights the pair had been served were incapable of being enjoyed in true quiet as they compelled soft noises of 'mmmmmm' and 'ooooooh' to emerge unsolicited from Garth's lips.

Miyi wasn't one to trust easily it seemed, which means she probably wasn't used to being trusted either Garth rationalized, pushing her would only end badly, and he did not want this to end that way, so he waited. Tethys's lessons in patience and discipline were serving him well.

After she finished her portions, or what she wanted of them she said, “That was delicious. I hope yours was as well. I like the view from up here, it’s nice. Pleasant really, reminds me of Nar Shaddaa.”

"Ah think ah'm headed there after dinner. Though ridin' in th' wet on a full stomach...ah'm sure it'll end well." Garth replied as he lowered his fork with a satisfied sigh.

"And yes, the food was perfect, almost as perfect as the company." He added in his cheesy manner.

"So, have you been t' many o' these festivals before? Any upcomin' events ye're looking forward to?" Garth asks as he relaxes, letting his stomach settle after the meal.

Garht lets out a slight chuckle. "It's that simple?" He asks, with a bemused look. "O' course it is y'all 're so polite here, ah should've realized. Maybe she'll let me take Tallulah out fer a spin."

As Miyi got up, Garth rose briefly from his seat as a matter of courtesy, nodding in understanding, and hoping it wasn't anything too troubling - though emergency calls were rarely good news.

While he waited for Miyi's return, Garth glanced over the dessert menu. He was stuffed full, but enjoyed reading about what they had on offer.

She returned and said, "I apologize Lord Ulgo, but I have to cut this evening short. But I did enjoy your company."

She gave him a kiss on the cheek and a smile.

Rising again as Miyi returns to the table, Garth listens to the bad news and nods.

"Take the speeder then, ah'll walk from here, sounds like yer in a bit of a rush."

He accepts the kiss without pressing for more, and slips a data chip with his details into her hand. "If ah c'n help with yer emergency or anythin' gimme a holler, 'n thanks fer a wonderful evenin'."
