Scenes from an Alderaanian Restaurant [D3 EE]

Garth had planned on walking here from the Thul estate after picking up Miyi, but the change in weather had necessitated hiring one of those eco friendly speeders - at least they still had one of the convertible models with a roof available to keep the pair dry.

Arriving at the restaurant, Garth gentlemanly opened Miyi's door and tossed the valet a few creds to park the speeder, turning to the elfin beauty he smiled and extended his arm as he asked. "Ah hope this will suffice, word says this 's th' nicest restaurant in town." He had even gone to quite the effort, in his eyes, to dress nicely for the occasion.

"It does now m'lady." Garth replies with a subtle smile. "You look exceptionally beautiful tonight, ah hope th' weather hasn't dampened yer enthusiasm."

He opens the door to the restaurant for her and bows slightly.

"Guilty as charged." He replies, blushing slightly at being called adorable. "Ah must admit th' rain is diff'rent here th'n back home on Bankor, warmer, softer." But he does look a little more comfortable as they head inside.

"Ah should apologize fer yesterday though. Shoulda asked yer permission before that poetic...travesty." Garth adds as the maitre'd leads them to a table.

“This is lovely,” she said as they were guided to a table. “I always wanted to visit here as a child… well when I aw pictures of it as a child. Nar Shaddaa has pretty sites too, but there is something about Alderaan that just hits different.”

"If ye found some free time after th' festival, ah'd love t' see some o' yer favourite sights on Nar Shaddaa though."

Garth glances down at the menu, perusing it before lifting his eyes up. "Ye're a curious woman Miyi, unique an' surprising. Ah can see how someone w' yer outlook might find life here a little...sedentary, despite it's own appeals."

"And pretty can have a compellin' appeal by itself, ah do prefer t' look beneath th' surface a li'l more though. That's where th' best hidden treasures lie."

"Mah plans? Well ah guess mah immediate plans 'are t' enjoy this next week an' the company that ah've found. But ah'll be honest with ya," he says as he reaches across the table, placing one hand close to Miyi's.

"Anything beyond that, ah can't give an answer to. There's too many balls in th' air and ah don' know which ones'll fall where." Garth seems genuinely concerned as his voice hitches slightly in the middle of his response.

"Well, ah hate t' disappoint th' Prince, but it involves him marryin' the second most eligible bachelorette at this festival, and th' most beautiful suitor decidin' t' slum it instead and run off wi' a jumped up orphan turned fighter pilot."
