[Day 5 - EA] Flower Court is in Session!

There are ways to remember someone by

She did mourn her when she learned of her passing but Baesal never got the opportunity to do something in her memory. She did love the younglings and the padawans and they were made better Jedi because of it. She had been a grandmother to many, Baes included.

This was a fitting place and she would have enjoyed the moment.

Baesal had tried her best to make the same cookies she had the opportunity to taste

Jameela sampled some of Baesal’s cookies… just enough… two or three.

“Thanks, master Jedi, these are amazing,” she said after eating four.

"Well let me know if y' need any help fetchin' more. Hey Kat, have y' meet Miyi yet? Miyi Thul, Jedi Knight Katarzyna Ulgo."

"I haven't had the pleasure. An honor to meet you, baroness," Kat gave a bow to Miyi as Garth introduced them.

"That would be cool, but maybe I want to do the flying," she replied with a smile.

Garth was only slightly teasing when he counteroffered. "You pick th' date, you c'n make the travel arrangements."

"You're evil... I'll die," she said laughing as she ate her last cookie.

Miyi gave Garth the finger guns of affirmative and then said to Kat, "Baroness Miyi Thul, but you can call me Miyi."

"Then you may call me Kat, as almost everyone else does," she offered in return with a kind smile. "... Are the young princesses of Thul here today? I had the honor of meeting them yesterday when I visited."

"At home, it's safer for now until everything is settled. But rest assured, I will bring them plenty of sweets," she said warmly.

"My duty is clear."

"Ah," she nodded, understanding. "Very good. We shall of course help you in this mission, Miyi. Garth, make sure that we can find an icebox to keep these treats chilled for the young princesses to enjoy at home. It would be very bad if they melted before reaching them."

Garth went about securing a few of each treat (the ones he could pry away from Jameela at least) for the Thul princesses, and securing them in an appropriate container.

It would take him quite a few minutes.

Jameela smiled at Galen and eyed Garth when he took her precious sweets well not in hand but all sweets were hers... but it was for the children.

The children.

Aurilie was a bit tardy for the gathering, only because she spent most of her time trying to pick out the appropriate fruits for a guilty pleasure of hers. It wasn't exactly something that people considered refined tastes but she was always a fan of fruit-topped flan cakes. While it perhaps was less so about the fruits themselves, as they were often covered in syrup and drizzled with more syrup, but they still mattered. After handing the fruits to the baker, she would wait patiently to for her creation to be made so that she could feast on some proper flan cakes.

Oh, the children too, of course.

When she got her creation back...it was a fruit cake, of sorts.



"This isn't what at all I wanted." She would tell the baker sternly.

However, short on time, she merely packed what was given to her and made her appearance with a tough-to-chew baked creation made not-fresh fruits.

Day 5, Early Afternoon: Survival (Cunning) at Easy: 2eP+1eA+1eD 1 failure, 4 advantage

Jameela smiled at Galen and eyed Garth when he took her precious sweets well not in hand but all sweets were hers... but it was for the children.

The children.

Without a word, Galen set a cheesecake square before her, then continued to serve the children.

When someone else arrived with sweets Jameela's eyes went wide... but the unveiling of the fruit cake dampened her spirits.

That one was for the Children.

But not the Thul children. Noting the reaction, even Garth stayed away from that one.

"Yes to all of that, but mostly cookies," she said laughing and then ate her cookie with gusto.

Bran smiles widely and nods emphatically. "I'll make it happen," he says and then steps away while popping his piece of the cookie into his mouth. Ending on a positive note, finally, he thinks.
