[Day 2, ME] Hunting Party

"This might have been answered already, but do we need to acquire licenses to accompany you?" She asked remembering that she no longer had the usual immunity for legal trifles.

She had been feeling punchy since earlier in the evening, but now for some reason she felt downright anxious. She tries in vain to calm her thoughts, but otherwise continues to wait patiently for the others to say their piece. Not being a survivalist, she would have nothing else to add to the discussion.

It hit her like a ton of bricks

Dozens...hundred...no, thousands of lives in abject agony.

Her legs almost gave out but she manage to get a hold of something nearby, panting

"Pantha, fetch the young woman some water! Is anybody a doctor? If it's a problem with her legs I'm afraid my medical knowledge does not extend so far."

"What is the nature of the medical emergency?"

Veeone, for anyone that knew the droid, surprisingly deployed the correct medical appendages from his arms. Medical scanner beeping with oscillating blue light as he moved it towards Baesal.

Not a hint of a fusion cutter at all.

Galen instinctively reached out to support her.

"Baes, what is it? What's wrong?"

''A ripple in the Force...'' she began to reply ''Pain, agony, madness''

She regained her footing

''Thank you everyone...I...I am allright but something happened. Hundred...perhaps thousands of lives were...are being subjected to abject suffering.''

Breela was feeling it too. Speech was hard but she managed, "Could- I help- you make sense of it?" She felt the anxiety wash over her in waves.

Katarzyna didn't buckle or cause a scene, but she certainly had a grimace to her face as she took a moment to close her eyes and shake her head.

"It feels like a battle has erupted, one of significant size..." her eyes narrowed in sheer discipline through the sensation, reminding herself that she had felt much worse not too long ago. It was more the suddenness on it that caused her discomfort. In a warzone you had time to mentally prepare more for it. "Not a planetary scale of war, but something."

Taking a moment she checked her comm and datapad in case there were any messages or updates on an attack.

She turned to Galen

''I am sorry but I must leave this instant. Please keep me updated''

Galen had felt something, but he tended to mute his senses when so many people were around. Seeing the others react, he opened himself to the Force.

"Death... Confusion, agony and death..."


He nodded. "Go."

"With you." Breela will follow you out.

"Keep me informed. I'll follow once we've finished." Galen said, before turning to the others. "I apologize for the interruption."

Blai sensed it too, instinctively, in fact. It took some time for him to make sense of it, but the feeling was impossible to not notice.

"What..."

He looked at Galen. They had something to decide, but...

"Ah... regarding Breela's question, Mr Sol. I think in this case, given the nature of the situation, we may not need a license?Or at least one should be easier to obtain, if..."

He turned to Unther. "Your Royal Highness, is this being managed in an official manner?"

He managed to speak without interruptions, but it was clear that he was making a conscious effort to do so. He'd follow once this was done with as well...

"This is outside the designated hunting grounds, I believe." Galen replied. "I would not think the normal licenses would apply. Given the circumstances, however, I hope we have approval to proceed with our plans."

Blai nodded. "Hopefully this won't pose a problem, yeah. And again... I could try to have a word at the University to see if they could help research the specimens afterwards. Maybe contain them even... I'd have to check at the labs."

He seems pensive, although his brow creases from time to time, disturbed by the lingering sense of pain on the back of his mind. "Do you have a plan for when we'd go surveying, mr Sol? We... could probably do with some more snares and tranquilizers before we head out. Just in case."

[Aurilie Alde]

If Aurilie was shaken up by the reaction from the Jedi, she didn't show it and remained stoic as she usually did when it came to public appearances. She was concerned, admittedly, but her mind went more on the impending possibility of an unannounced Sith attack or an audacious assassination attempt.

The killiks, well...they weren't relevant to the safety or continued function of Alderaan.

Aurilie spoke in regards to the permit concern. "I would think something that had claimed the lives of a few locals would not need some formalities to sign its de...pacification notice. So long as we leave the noble animals alone in our hunt, I'd imagine there will be little to no issues. Of course, I'd be more than happy to defend this stance should it come to that or if to assuage any concern over the formalities of justice."

Being totally unaffected by the Force, Veeone continued to play the medscanner around, just in case.

"I am detecting increased levels of adrenaline and endorphins, does anyone require immediate medical attention?"

Which was then repeated in binary . . . because it could.

Seeing no messages about attacks, and noticing that the prince had recieved no such notification either, Kat had to assume it was something else. No need for everyone to rush out when they didn't know what was happening.

"Your assistance is appriciated, sir V1, but it will not be needed, I think. At least not at this moment." The fabled Jedi calm had returned.

"I am not sure what has happened." Galen said. "But, I don't believe there is any present danger. If something more comes of it, I am certain we will be informed. However, it would be best to finish our initial planning."

"Should we send a scouting party in the morning?"
