[Day 3 - LM] More Soup for the Soul

[Gil Corren]

"Yeah, and I'm sure the kids out there would love it." He agreed as he looked towards a table with a small group of children. "Something a little sweet and nit terribly unhealthy either."

[Galen Sol]

"We'll have to suggest it." he shrugged. "Can't hurt to try."

[Gil Corren]

"Right." He glanced over at the other man. "We might need to have a pancake making course while we're at it though.

"Flipping pancakes isn't as easy as labeling soup."

[Galen Sol]

"Very true." he chuckled. "There's a few things to figure out there."

[Gil Corren]

"The demon in the detail, or something like that." He replied with a slight smirk. "Shouldn't be too hard to teach though, figure most here would catch on real quick." Maybe not Lady Ulgo though, she seemed pretty bad at the whole hand eye coordination thing, at least if her shooting was any indication.

[Galen Sol]

"I'm sure it could be managed." he nodded. "Just need to get the right people to agree to it."

[Gil Corren]

"That shouldn't be too hard." Or at least he didn't think it would be. "Doesn't seem like the right time at the moment though." He offered after a glance towards where the others were working. You wanted to aim for a time when there were less distractions surely.

"So I suppose it's time to shelf the idea, at least for now."

[Galen Sol]

"For now." he agreed. "The name's Galen, by the way. Galen Sol."

[Gil Corren]

"Gil Corren." The bodyguard replied with a polite nod, no times for handshakes while serving food.

"You here for the festivities, or something else draw you here. If you don't mind me asking."

[Galen Sol]

"A few different things." he answered. "I'm a hunter, and there's a pack of kath hounds out there that have been killing. They need to be dealt with."

[Count Serenno]

Having done his work, the Count sat down to enjoy a glass of water.

[Gil Corren]

"Kath hounds?" Those did certainly prove a problem. "Well I'm happy to hear someone is here to deal with them. Hunting isn't exactly my Forte after all." Though he could do it in a pinch.

"Do you figure it will take long to take care of them?"

[Galen Sol]

"It looks like it will be more difficult than I had anticipated." he explained. "But, I'm hoping it will be resolved tomorrow."

[Gil Corren]

"Mmmm...." He nodded at that. "Well I do wish you luck with it Mr Sol. It will most certainly put the population at ease knowing this problem case is out of the way."

[Galen Sol]

"Call me Galen, please." he said. "I hope you're right. It should restore some balance to the ecosystem, at the least."

[Gil Corren]

"Galen then." He offered after a moment. It was rather informal, but the man wasn't a noble either so it worked.

"And I hope so, I'm no real expert on that sort of thing, but from what I hear a balanced ecosystem is a good thing."

[Galen Sol]

"If these predators aren't delt with, they'll dominate the wild lands, killing most of the prey and leaving little for other predators. As it becomes harder to find food, they'll turn their attention to civilized areas." he explained.

[Gil Corren]

"Makes sense, you have to eat something." Gil offered with a thoughtful nod, that's mind of why they were here at the very least. "Would likely mena a lot of peoples pets went missing at first I'd figure." Then people and or children would get attacked. "Best to nip that in the bud early."

[Galen Sol]

"With these in particular, it's worse than pets." he said darkly. "But, we will deal with it."

[Gil Corren]

"I'm sure you will." Gil replied with a nod. He'd figured that might be the case, but hadn't want to say as much out loud.
