Galen set his saber on the workbench. "I've only really done this the one time, and that was largely piecing it back together."

''Hmmm'' she crossed her arms ''I see the problems...did you bring the items you want to personalize it with?''

"I brought everything I thought I might need." he nodded.

''Allright'' she guided him to the bench

''First and foremost we will need to disassemble the current lightsaber and identify the parts that needs to be changed. I do believe the main frame will need to be replace entirely. I am sure you can do this part on your own but I am here if you need to ask questions.''

"That's what I thought." he nodded. "I think the emitter is fine, and the crystal of course. I'd like to replicate some of the aesthetic elements, if possible."

She nodded

''Doable...but do you wish to keep it as a regular saber or do you aim for a shoto or something else?''

"I want it light. My style is quick and agile." he explained. "A shoto could work well. Maybe a pair of them some day."

''A double lightsaber could also fit the style'' she proposed ''Dual might be more versatile but finding another crystal will be arduous. I can create one but it is expansive.''

He nodded. "Double could definitely work as well. It is more noticeable, though. Hmmm...."

"When I was young, a staff was the only means of defense I was allowed to carry." he said after a few moments of thought. "Yeah, a double would be."

''With the right components we can make your saber look like a regular staff''

she nods

''Then let us begin. I will help you as much as I can but you will have to follow your own instincts as you let the Force guide you through the process.''

With Baesal's guidance he began piecing things together. It would take time to complete, but he felt certain he could succeed.

''It was due'' she replies with a nod before pausing ''Say Galen...how long will you stay on Alderaan?''

"Honestly, it depends on Princess Jameela." he answered. "If that somehow works out, I might never leave. If it doesn't, I'm not sure. At least long enough to help the hounds."

She nods

''I make you the offer either way...Whatever happens I am inviting you to come train on Tython with the Jedi Order. I know you might not want to join us but in the end we need to prepare for what is comming and I trust you to keep on the right path.''

"What is coming?" he asked.
