So Blai is showing what I, the player, believe is a Sith Holocron? Is this something Jedi can recognize fairly easy in this timeline (no roll), or is a Lore roll required?

You can probably keep them calm while in their presence but training them without tapping into aggression and violence is a lost, if at all possible, cause these creatures are twisted by the dark side and unlike sentients don't really have an intention for redemption.

And would there be any possibility to like un-twist them? Even as a long-term goal or research goal of sorts?

No I am not worried about using their own strain, there is already enough to track.

So Animal Empathy works for all rolls with the Thranta then? Weeeee \o/

Was also waiting on an answer to the Species Database for the manever using Xenology checks. Reposting from before:

So it doesn't specifically mention you have to have it on you, although it mentions "using" it. I could imagine reading about Thrantas right before the race might grant the bonus, but it's ultimately your call

I don't think it's specifically directed to sentients as it applies to all Xenology rolls as written... but let's call it a no for now

After checking the rules for each leg, some more questions on a few talents and whether they'd apply to remove Setbacks from the race:

Outdoorsman: "The character removes ■ per rank of Outdoorsman from his checks to move through terrain or to manage terrain or environmental effects. Decrease overland travel times by 50% (this does not decrease with additional ranks of Outdoorsman)". (Not sure it applies to move 'with the thranta' through difficult terrain?)

Researcher: "The character removes ■ per rank of Researcher from his Knowledge checks. Researching takes 50%
less time (this does not decrease with additional ranks of Researcher)." (This one only for the Xenology checks, of course)

and

Brace: "As a maneuver, the character may Brace himself. This allows a character to remove • per rank of Brace from
the next skill check based on changing conditions, inclement weather, unstable surfaces, zero gravity, heavy gravity, or other disruptive physical obstacles that would make a skill check more difficult." (Not sure it would apply as ir requires a maneuver?)

For each leg an action can be done only once besides Basic Control which can be done as much as needed, or if noted otherwise.

Does this apply to failed rolls too?

If I fail We Are One in one Leg, can I try it again, or is it then removed as an option?
