Well...totally to the opposite of the extermination effort, Baes is looking at studying the Killiks to find a way to make peace with them in some fashion.

Depends what you're planning, but possibly.
If wiping them off the planet was feasible, Tethys suspects someone would have done it by now, considering Alderaan's resource level. So some other kind of accommodation that protects everyone's safety is clearly needed. Doubt she'll want to rush in and shake hands, though.

I have a vested interest in peace efforts with nonhumans. (Even if it could be very risky for me. >.> )

I’m free, but what exactly is happening? If it’s just planning, that’s probably fine; might be a bit dark for wilderness adventure though.
