[Day 1 - EN] Monday Night Huttball

"Well the palace has a private court, I am sure they won't mind us getting some late night practice in," he offered.

He paused for a moment looking at her for a moment his eyes wandering her again before he let out a soft groan "ugh I'd love to but I'm sorry to say I already promised a friend I would help them tonight after the game."

He leaned in closer to her kissing her furred cheek he pulled back a little but stayed close, only a breath away looking into her eyes "rain check?" He asked his voice quieter and a little deeper than it had been before.

She almost rebuffed him. Her intention had been to pull him out of the crowd and talk about the days events, somewhere other ears wouldn't hear the conversation. Not what he was thinking. Well... not yet it seems. He wouldn't have seen the flush but he would have seen her pupils dilate. She gave him a mischievous grin in reply. "Gonna hold you too that mister Rist. We'll talk more tomorrow." She grabs a napkin and a pin and writes down her contact info. Then gives him a passing wink as she makes for the door, her tail swinging in rhythm with her hips.

It was a bold move but he wasn't known for half steps, if she had rebuffed him he would have taken it gracefully. As it were he noted the dilating pupils and his grin grew a little "I Can't wait miss Breela. until tomorrow." he said moving to stand and give her a slight bow in the same move grabbing the napkin and sliding it into his pocket.

Gil hung a bit away from the Majority of the crowd, Mostly there to keep an eye on Omandri, not that such was likely needed with the Prince here. Still, could never be too careful on Aldeeraan when politics were involved.

Omandri had seen Riss step away and thought about approaching her but first he wanted to talk to a certain wall flower "Gil isn't it?" Omandri asked as he approached the subtly unsubtle bodyguard "Are you the one my sister has sent to make sure I don't make a fool of myself?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

[Cynella Andrim]

"That is enticing indeed," Cynella said, "though that wouldn't do well with my morning jog. That is, I think I might oversleep it if I work out now!"

She flicked her hair and rested her cheek on one of her palms. "It might be a better idea to postpone this invitation. For one, I've heard that longing for more time leads to more fondness down the road. Besides, I imagine I don't want to get too much on Lady Ulgo's bad side."

"Yeah, flyin' professionally, gotta leave it all out there, not just f'r mah sake, but the squadron. Recreationally though, that's another story. A gentlem'n don' kiss n tell, but ah've left a few ladies who thought a trip in a star fighter'd be cool thinkin' better of it before ah learned t' tone it down."

He shrugs his shoulders and grins.

"Ah guess barrel rolls pulling 8 g's ain't fer everyone."

That got more than a chuckle, a sort of guffaw really.

"You don't say? I'll have to keep that in mind for the future. Not that I'm about to pull any in atmosphere inversions in the Niche, but who knows? I have enough trouble as is with maintenance costs though without throwing everything around. Maybe if I had a fighter, be a different story. Still, last thing I need is scaring away the ladies, as you said."

Garth tilts his head to one side and grins. "Ye ball, ye fly, ye're gettin' more and more intriguing as th' night wears on Miss..."

"Galaxy's a big place... Always someone fighting somewhere." She said with a snort through her nostrils.

"Yeah, I'm on the Havoc Squad of the Republic Army now. Been so since Bankor... Was lookin' forward to a bit of a break... but..."

She stopped herself.

"Don't I know it" Azura rolled her eyes "seen it all over. Were even' getting fiesty in the space port earlier today."

She tilted her head.

"Were hopin' for a holiday an' instead got dragged into something? Follows you around, somethin' I also know too well. Hope it's fun at least?"

His buddies gave him hell for his team losing, lost of man-hugs and mock punching, as he said his goodbyes and then made his way outside.

Riss watches Joran shake off the fog. Sitting with the thought she has, looking ahead toward the screen. Glass raises up, liquid pours into her mouth, she swallows. It's all a bit mechanical for a brief moment as a decision is reached. Shaking her head she takes another drink, alike a swig of the beer, and then turns and stands from her seat.

Coming up to Cynella she puts her hand on the woman's forearm, "I'll be back" she promises. Glances to Joran her lips part to say something but she doesn't, and instead just gives one of her trademark smiles. Without lingering too long she slips away from the central point and makes her way out closer toward the pool where she could get some fresher air.

“We lost by the way, pretty much Alderaan is doomed now that the Frog Dogs or the Monkey Lizards… I could never keep the names straight. I just like the violence. You doing some heavy thinking?” Joran asked as he put on his jacket.

Took like four of us, a Jedi blowin' up her own saber and someone droppin' a giant box on one to kill it."

"So lots of squishies rather than one big tough squishie. Hope you got some good help" Azura peered over that the leaving prince before back at Delmi "an' good rewards of course. Good pay, favours with the house? They are pullin' you off holdiay after all."

“Yeah, that’s what it’s for really. I got here and one of the bigger houses made me one of their ‘Specialists’. I get some nice housing, benefits, etc.” She replied.

“Their trying to help out House Syrush for some political reason probably… but I’m just doin’ it to get along better with the important folks.”

She turned to Azura, “You heard of House Thul?”

Nodding, taking a drink of the beer she still had held by the neck, "Just remembering a few things I hated about this place," she looks to him, regarding him a moment. Opening her mouth to speak, shifting, "I usually pick my favorite team based on who's wearing the better colors. Kinda dumb, but I don't get to watch enough to care who's who," she chuckles.

"Maybe, sometimes, I switch cause one of the players is better looking. But that's.. rare, they're almost always scarred messes. Sometimes you get a few that look cool though."

Omamdri clapped the man gently on the shoulder "Gil, relax a little. You're at a bar, grab a drink, talk to a pretty girl, or boy, person." He said with a smile to the serious bodyguard "The kriffing Prince is here which means royal guards are everywhere. So live a little man, I'm perfectly safe from assassination attempts and kidnappings I'm sure. Worst we can expect is a bar Brawl and if it comes to that I can take of myself."

“And yeah… if you’re willing. Got a small team lookin’ to head out tomorrow. If you’re a Bankor vet I assume you’re tough enough for some bug splattin’. I can’t promise all that much but I’d think Thul would be quite appreciative.”

She asked, “You more of a ranged fighter or ‘up in someone’s face’ type?”

"Ooo, dangerous information you're sharing," she chuckles, a soft two-note chuckle. Hands coming out of her pockets they rest on her hips instead. Glancing off toward the night sky for a moment, another shared back toward inside for a potential glimpse of Cynella, before focusing back on Joran himself. "So.. I'm curious what'd you think of Cynella? She's pretty right?"
