Drinking Games, Redux [D6, EN]

Now this was conversing.

Setting her glass aside she puts both of her elbows down on the table and bent up, palms laying out so she can rest her head within, hands curling around her jaw, fingers over her cheeks. Looking to Cynella with the brightest of smiles she focuses back on Joran, "You ever meet a dad that's got that just.. put together demeanor? You see him and something just.. clicks. That's Cynella's dad, older gentlemen.. graying beard," she pulls one hand away a bit to scratch at the side of her jaw.

"When I met him he had on this deep burgundy smoking jacket which I only found out later meant he was relaxing. Never saw the man out of some kind of finery, suits and the sort," she smiles, glancing down as her hand comes back to her cheek. "Always had on this really fancy but subtle cologne that.." she just makes a sound here, suggesting she rather liked it. "Always seemed more willing to just hang around and be happy that way. Real.. put together like that. Knowing who he is, what he wants, that's.. attractive, you know? All past that getting to know myself kriff," she chuckles. "But also a dad? Has that soft spot for the kids even if they don't always show it. There's that caring there, saw it enough in the way he looked at Rhia here," she glances to Cynella, scrunching her nose with a bit of the tease.

Of all to things to get Cynella flustered, it was comments about her dad instead of herself. She ruffled her own hair as part of a coping mechanism, glancing at Joran to try to gauge his opinion.

"I've always looked at my dad as, well, dad," she said at the end of all that. "You could say that I learned a lot about the finer things from him though." Her mom, on the other hand, had always been on the more conservative side of things. "Maybe that's why I don't wear as many dresses!"

"I can't say I understand but he sounds like a man worthy of respect," he said kindly.

[Cynella Andrim]

"I'd hope so. It'd be a shame if you didn't care for my father," Cynella said with her classic wink. "Much like I respect your mother, Her Majesty. She exudes authority simply by, well, existing. I wish I had that, honestly."

She shot a smile to Riss. "Instead, I'd say we get along because we're quite alike. We aim to get on people's good sides through our cheerful demeanors, though I think she's ultimately better than me at that. It's no problem, though. I have her beat in other areas," she concluded, sticking out her tongue.

"You seem like very unlikely friends, but maybe that is what makes your friendship work well?" he said looking back and forth.

A wrinkle of her nose, a quick shake of it at Cynella, "Unlikely, maybe- but that's pretty common around me," she chuckles, glancing back to Joran. "I always find the little ways folk are alike, mm? I mean, how else can I count friends among a pacifist Rist, a stalwart Jedi Knight," she hesitates a moment here, but her smile grows in strength again as she focuses over on Cynella, "a darling Kuati Princess," she passes one of Cynella's own winks back at her, "a dashing prince and Hunter of wild beasts, and just.. so many others," she chuckles warmly, shaking her head.

"I do think that I'm among the more likely of her friends," Cynella said after the list. "But I admit, Riss does have her mysterious appeal. I know so many stuck-up nobles that it's hard not to be enamored by her charms."
