Mark and Barris were seated at the bar, having a drink, seemingly arguing over something in whispers.

She sat at the edge of the bar, a glass of fine spirits sitting half full with melting ice and a tiny umbrella. She glanced over her shoulder but whoever she was waiting for was not coming. She didn't seem like staff or the off-work crew, her clothes were too fine for that. She sat alone, but eyes were on her, if only their bravery matched their curiosity of the woman as she put the glass to her lips for a slow drink before putting the cup back down.

The evening was warm and still light out, though night was crawling forward.

Mark was done with the argument. Ultimately, it didn't matter who was right. The decision was above their paygrade. He moved down the bar to get away from Barrie for the time being. It just happened to be by the woman the rest of the bar had taken interest in. Mark had noticed her too. He ordered a drink. He'd take a better read on her before deciding if she was worth pursuing. He'd also ignore Barrie's death glare.

A local was also around, someone who had been to this bar dozens of times actually. The woman was dressed in a simple dress in neutral colors, mostly greys and greens with a little white. Not her more usual flashy attire, same with her makeup, but she wasn't feeling very flashy this evening.

For now, the blonde woman sat at the bar nursing a Kessel Spiced Cognac, fiddling with an ashtray a little between sips.

If she noticed the looks it didn’t bother her, and for now at alone and perhaps defiant of the curiosity. When an older devaorianan tried to approach she smiled and laughed briefly at his words in Huttese before dismissing him after she procured another drink from him.

She sipped some more and looked towards the horizon enjoying the view.

Taking her drink and a coaster, Arsele decided to try her luck; The holomail had been troubling, but there was nothing to do for it but play along for now. Any reaching or risks she might take would be balanced out by the fact that whoever had sent it had obviously known about her past in greater detail than even most of her friends and rivals back on Nar Shaddaa.

"May I?"

She motioned to a nearby seat, facing the horizon.

"I promise I won't talk your ear off at all."

"Just enjoying the weather, and the view," she offered to the woman.

"Just enjoying the weather, and the view," she offered to the woman.
Arsele took that as a sign she could sit... so she did.

"I suppose I can hardly think of a better place in the area to do that, especially in combination with a refreshment or two."

To her credit Arsele kept her word on not being overly-wordy and left it at that, sitting back in the chair she'd chosen with the cognac in her hand, sipping it slowly and looking out in the direction of the lightshow Alderaan's star was providing.

She smirked at that and said, “The Silver Spires might be a better view but the drinks and company are nice. I can see you have a good eye for quality, you seem like enjoyable company but are you enjoying the lovely weather?”

A small shrug, "Actually, I prefer when it rains. Though everything has its time and place I suppose. Right now? I'd rather it hold off until I'm done with my drink."

With that she took a longer sip of the bracing liquid quietly.

The woman took a sip and then gestured to the droid to bring another drink, a red sweet smelling mixed drink with ice and umbrella is offered. The droid puts it on a napkin and pushes it towards Arsele.

“Maybe you will find what you are looking for, thanks for the drink,” she said before finishing both drinks and then making her exit.

A short glace at the woman as she leaves before the lounging Arsele looks back at the drink that had been pushed towards her. She picks up the glass and napkin, replacing the cognac glass that just has its round ice cube left in it.
