Alderaan - Love and Intrigue

Joran tipped one back as he smirked and then shouted when the Nar Shaddaa Frog Dogs scored another goal against the Nal Hutta Monkey Lizards; it was a close game with only one death so far, censored of course for Alderaan audiences. He was there with other soldiers and friends from House Panteer as he cheered on the teams.

The Frog Dogs of course, not those loser Monkey Lizards.

Yulastranza smirked and clinked her beer with Joran, "Frog Dogs are going down Joran."

She had traded her gown for more casual but stylish clothes.

Bar Shaddaa was the kind of place one would always find Riss if she could manage getting there. Leaving the blaster at home and the somewhat ratty jacket off on a chair somewhere, no one was gonna steal that thing and she trusted that much. Riss made her way through the assembled folk to make sure she was as close to watching the game as she could with a beer half-empty in hand. Ever the woman with the mindset of cultivating good vibes with whom she was nearest.

Cynella, recovered from her earlier display, made her way to the bar with a new outlook on things. If she was not going to impress the Queen, then perhaps she could impress the prince himself.

Seeing as her dear friend Riss was already there, she headed her way over. "You saw that earlier display, did you not?" She shook her head. "It matters not. I am wondering, though, if I can depend on your help tonight. Or do you think I would not make a good fit with him?" she asked with a wink.

Finding a seat that puts Yulastranza between himself and Joran.

"Monkey-Lizards all the way. Gotta show loyalty since I filled in for them once back in the day," the sith-blood says.

She turned and narrowed her eyes saying, "You're real brave, sitting their Thul."

He shrugs at that. "It's a festival, and this is huttball. Just relaxing and enjoying."

"My dear, it matters to me what you think," Cynella said, brushing her hand against Riss' wrist. But that was only a slight touch; more was reserved for some other time, perhaps. "I've been told that it helps to have a wingwoman. And, well, you're a bonafide pilot!"

"Well, Thul, in the name of festivities I won't bloody your face."

She then took a sip and said dryly, "You played Huttball?"

The mention of bloodying him didn't seem to phase him at all.

"A little bit, while I was on Nar Shaddaa for the peace talks back in the day," he says with a nod. "Picked up a couple games in the arena there. Done a few practice matches here with the Thul team. How about yourself?" Then leans to look at the prince. "Or you Prince Joran?"

While she was being dry and showing disinterest, Zeno was actively trying to lighten the mood, that he knew his presence probably soured.

Arsele was here to drink and relax, not so much to watch Huttball. Notthat she disliked Huttball... but the difference between Huttball here and on Nar Shadaa was so stark, it was like two different sports. She almost wanted to get back in the game sometimes and show these locals what real Huttball felt like.

Still, she knew better than to actually go down that path, so she largely kept her opinions on the matter to herself.

Real good at getting from A to B but.. not the point," she shakes her head rather than disturbing her hand. "You're pretty, he's handsome," she shrugs, "I don't see why not. Would need to see how the two of you get on.. so, only thing to really do is try, mm?"

"Okay," Cynella said with a wink. "Don't leave me hanging, okay? You can always watch the game on repeat, if need be!" She got ready to leave then paused. "Though I suppose it's not the same as a live viewing. Nonetheless!"

With that done, Cynella headed over to the dear prince. While the presence of others complicated matters (especially a... Sith?), she was unwilling to be so daunted twice in one day! "Prince Joran," she said, hovering by as to not intrude too heavily. "Do you mind if I accompany you this evening as well? I would have said hi earlier today but... well, I'm afraid I didn't make a good impression in regards to the Queen."

Arsele turned to the speaker and lifted her whiskey sour in greetings, "Oh it's fine enough, I suppose. Even amateur Huttball has an appeal of sorts, no?"

She gave a sly smirk before taking a sip of the aforementioned drink.
