[Day 5 - MN] The Moonlight Rave

[Joran Panteer]

The Bar Shaddaa is the spot to be, but this isn’t a time for high class gowns and suits, no people are here with the latest Czerka Ultra Soaker hydro guns, and the pool is filled with soapy suds and the atmosphere is one of carousal. The drinks are flowing as people run around in swim clothes spraying each other, drinking, and dancing at the Moonlight Rave.

Joran is relaxed in the large lagoon hot tub enjoying the atmosphere. The Queen's Guard though are not partaking.

[Dapper Dog]

Gaul was present at the bar, he was not the adult in the room unless he had to be.

[Riss]

Riss was present of course. What would be a party like the midnight rave without the party hearty Riss herself. Wearing a red one-piece with pleasant looking cutouts she walked the room, collecting herself a few drinks as well as a few other accessories. Accessories in the form of circular tubes with vibrantly glowing liquids inside of various different colors. Two worn around her neck and at least three in the form of bangles resting around her wrist. A woman on a decided mission she walks through the party to find the man of the hour himself.

Sitting down just near Joran's shoulder by the edge of the pool she leans onto her side, ready to slip her feet in but not doing it quite yet. Carefully shifting her weight to make sure she didn't spill either of the two glasses in hand. "Mind if I join you?" she asks as she finds a decent enough spot to settle. A more subtle smile, "I've brought an offering," she raises one of the two glasses.

"Yeah please do, how did you enjoy the uhh... dinner yesterday?" he said to her.

[Riss]

"It was.. a little unexpected," she says, sliding her legs along the edge of the pool and slipping down into the water beside him. Offering up one of the two drinks as she continued, "in a lot of ways, actually. Plenty to tell about it if you're interested but.. I think the most important thing I managed to find out when talking to your mother was that you were the one to put me on the guest list. Which means.. getting you to storm out on me wasn't a total deal-breaker for these nice little moments we have," she suggests with a slightly warm laugh, it's short and sweet.

"I'm glad about that," she admits, rather readily.

"Well you seem to be a pain in the butt, but I think you mean well... probably," he said warmly.

[Riss]

That managed to dig up one of her more common broad smiles, a nod, "See? You're already starting to figure me out more and more," she laughs briefly and warmly, with the tease. Taking the pause for a sip of her drink, "It's.. been a really long time since I've danced quite like that. Sorry to say I didn't manage to show myself off too much, got myself all caught up in thinking about my dad. You know, he was the one who really hammered it in and taught me how to dance? Mom did most of the work on stuff like that.. but when it came to dancing," she shakes her head, "all dad."

[Joran Panteer]

"How are the fortunes of House Lanar? Looking to make a come back?" he asked.

[Riss]

"Right now.. it's just me and my little brother. Younger sister is out there somewhere still, not sure what she might think on it.. and the rest?" she offers a shrug. "Dead or.. missing," she shakes her head. "Not sure if that makes much of a House these days but.. well, it gave me enough reason to come back and see how things were. Guess.. make sure Alderaan wasn't doing anything too exciting without me," she smirks, almost leading into a chuckle but not quite.

“You have a younger brother? What’s he like?” Joran asked with interest.

[Riss]

"Like.. me, but a me before I started figuring things out. Hasn't had that big heartbreak yet, mm?" she suggests with a light smiles, glancing down to her drink as her expression turns a little more neutral. Rising back, looking back, "So he's a bit of a troublemaker. Follows what he wants. Something of a lovable idiot sometimes," she laughs warmly, a slight shake of her head. "Currently he's swept up in this Deathwright lady I know is playing him for an angle.. and I'm trying to be a good big sister, show him that she's bad news. Haven't been around to do that for a whole lotta time but doing what I can to look out for him."

“That sounds like a losing battle, but I wish you luck,” he said.

[Riss]

"It's family.." she offers with a shrug. Shifting a little how she sat to face him more, elbow coming up to the side of the pool bent so that her head could rest against her palm. Leg coming over the other within the water, a slight twist at the hip, "Speaking of family, how is everything working out with yours? You all are doing okay? Hard not to notice the bigger changes but, it's stressful, mm?"

[Dapper Dog]

"It's family.." she offers with a shrug. Shifting a little how she sat to face him more, elbow coming up to the side of the pool bent so that her head could rest against her palm. Leg coming over the other within the water, a slight twist at the hip, "Speaking of family, how is everything working out with yours? You all are doing okay? Hard not to notice the bigger changes but, it's stressful, mm?"

"Oh surely the family is doing well," another man said slipping into the pool.

"And this must be the woman known as Riss of House Lanar? Your friend spoke highly of you."

[Riss]

Riss doesn't shift her seating, but does look over toward the newcomer, "I've got a few.. but considering I think I saw you talking to Cynella at the dinner last night I'm gonna take a guess that you mean her," she says with a brief smile. Offering a little shrug, "Cynella's a very good friend, probably one of my fastest friends if I'm being honest. But yea, I have good friends. It's one of my better qualities," she chuckles, killing the note with a sip of her drink.

[Dapper Dog]

"Fast indeed, not as fast as Cynella but mission accomplished," he said to Joran as they fist bumped. "So is this the soldier one or the other soldier one?"

[Joran Panteer]

"Neither, she's the wildcard I am still trying to figure out," Joran said.

[Riss]

Riss' brow furrows a bit at the slight shift in the conversation toward something that wasn't readily knowable to her. Trying to parse it, figure it out, she settles the furrowed brow as she takes a sip of her drink while looking between the two men. "I do ever so like being in the loop," she says, as the glass leaves her lips. First looking to Joran, then the newcomer, "What kinda mission are we talking about? Something fun?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Oh you know a late night rendezvous at the top of the palace battlements," the man teased.

Joran added with a laugh, "He's a ladies' man in his mind... but he does have some successes. Well done cousin."
