She just smiled and said, “My conscience is clear, but if you have something on your mind I would listen. I have nothing to hide if you wish to know anything, ask, or if someone else wishes to know then ask on their behalf.”

Kat considered for a moment to spill the beans, be the tattle-tale, but... no, it didn't seem worth the possible pain it could cause, one way or another.

She smiled, and shook her head. "It is nothing. At least, not anymore, right now. Speaking with you, it is always nice, Thy. You're honest, warm... and a better Knight than I am. I see I still have much farther to go to be on your level."

“You are a better Jedi Knight than you give yourself credit for, but then again we are our own worst critics. I am sure wherever Master Syo has gone, he would be proud of the Knight you have become. The others need your focus, and you need them, that is the Jedi way,” she responded.

She stood and said, “I spoke with Layne earlier and gave her my word I would look into a few things for her with the Blackguards and House Rist; anything else I should be concerned about?”

There was a tension in her shoulders that seemed to dissipate, as if she found her emotional burden a little lighter thanks to Thy's words. "Thank you, Thy. Your words mean much to me. I... I know Master Syo is alive still - I would've known if he had become one with the Force."

That Layne had spoken with Thy seemed like good news. The woman had seemed troubled with all that had happened. "House Thul in general? We need to know just how much the Sith and the Empire had permeated them. I'm worried that their close proximity to the royal family puts the Panteers in danger, if they truly are doing the Sith's work."

“I don’t have internal information, but the Imperial delegation has shrunk over the past year, it won’t be long before they are all gone, I suspect,” she said.

“But that is just observation and supposition.”

Kat nodded. "It is possible they are merely disappearing out of sight. Such as adding to the numbers of this Blackguard, or blending into the populace here on Alderaan."
