[Day 2 - LA] Skeet Skeet Shooting

[Yulastranza Ulgo]

Yulastranza kicked up Gaul's rifle grabbed it in midair and fired at the advanced drone, bullseye.

"Target sight's off, Gaul..." she said before tossing the rifle back to the prince.

[Dapper Dog]

Gaul shrugged and said, "Seems on point enough, Yula."

[Gil Corren]

Kat was about to reply to Cynella when Gil showed a pretty amazing display of skill.

"My word. Masterful shooting, sir," she seemed even surprised, which was a rare sight on the Jedi.

If he was honest Gil had been paying more attention to the shots then the shooters and he was a bit surprised when he was addressed.

Turning towards the young woman who addressed him his lips twitched at the edges a bit, though it wasn't near a smile. "Thank you Lady Jedi." He replied spotting her Saber.

"I have to admit though I heard the Droid over there comment about the wind, so I was able to adjust for it." He finished motioning to V1

[Jocasta Teraan]

After securing her weapon. Jocasta made her way to the refreshments. It was then she heard Prince Unther's comments and noticed that Crown Prince? Gaul was present. She had been so focused on the shoot that she hadn't noticed who all was in attendance. This was a very interesting development.

She was brought out of her contemplation when a newcomer effortlessly plinked a high difficulty target drone. "Surely these three princes of House Panteer aren't going to let this man show them up?" She teased as she raised her fresh glass of Bespin Breeze to the shooter.

[Riss]

Sitting on a nearby marble surface of some kind Riss watches from her vantage point as quite a few folk start taking their shots. A few being rather impressive, not that she was any good eye on what was properly impressive. For a bit, while folk were settling into it, she was busy with a drink in her hand that was near enough half empty already. Thumbing over her own blaster at her hip, a quick draw looking down-range, pretend to shoot, and then holstering it again. She shrugs after watching, watching Yulostranza's unenthused performance. Pushing herself off the surface she hands her drink off to whomever is nearest without much care for who it was, "Hold this for me," she flashes a quick smile.

Taking up the appropriate blaster rifle she gives it a good look over, "How hard could it really be?" a muttered comment to herself as she lines up a shot and- hits. A flash of a proud smile she glances toward the others and dims it a bit. Setting the blaster aside again she played it cool, "No sweat," she lied, and put her hands in her jacket pockets while she glanced around for whoever had her drink.

Jocasta's comment however seemed perfect for easening the tension, and she had a more calm smile on her face, expectant of a good showing of marksmanship. And for some reason, she suddenly found herself holding Riss' drink.

[Delmi Koor]

Meanwhile Joran whistled at the shot of Delmi and said, "That was amazing!"

“Thanks!” She said with a smile.

[Cynella Andrim]

Cynella glanced up at all of the firepower going around her. "It does seem like we have quite a few marksman today. I agree that it just wouldn't do if the hosts were so outdone by others."

[Gil Corren]

"Perhaps I should keep that in mind, next time I must fire a weapon. Lightsabers rarely require me to account for the wind strength." And accurately throwing her saber wasn't a talent she had mastered yet.

Gaul stood and took a shot and it was way off and he just laughed and said, “I guess Yula was right.”


Meanwhile Joran hit his square while Unther put on a blindfold and hit the target square as well, same one as Joran.

Unther added, “Good shot, little brother.”

Joran smirked and they bro fist each other, and then wiggle their hands mimicking an explosion.

OOC: Joran and Unther strike true, but Gaul super missed.

"Not many people use slugthrowers these days. Even on the Outer Rim I see folks still preferring blasters, but... it does seem you sparked a competition with your skill, sir Corren," she remarked with amusement, watching the three princes ready their shots.

The display earned another polite applause, especially considering Unther doing it with a bit more flair.

"Quite the talent show we're treated today. Though it seems high highness prince Gaul should do like myself and spend some more time practicing."

“Not bad yourself.” Delmi said with a nod as she remained in proximity of Jordan.

Joran smiled at her. He said, "You really are one of the Republic's finest."

She smirked, “I’ve worked hard to become so. My dad was busy teachin’ me how to shoot not long after I could walk.”

She nodded to the collection of Panteer boys, “You all seem to have spent time shooting together as well.”

Speak of the devil. "There it is," is heard from behind. Moments before a hand comes down gently on Kat's shoulder from behin, leaning onto it as Riss reaches over the other woman to grab at the drink Kat'd been holding for her. Once her hand was around it, she leans in and gives a kiss, a peck, at the side of Kat's head, "You're a sweatheart."

[Cynella Andrim]

"Oh my, dear Riss, you really do know everybody, don't you?" Cynella winked and then her eyes widened. "Oh, goodness, that's not the implication I meant. But take it as you will."

[Arsele Girard]

Arsele was there to. Not that she cared much about this whole marriage thing. But she had certain obligations, and it was better than being at home regardless. Besides, the atmosphere was mostly relaxed, and that worked for her just fine. Besides, the eye candy was more than fine...

Still, she didn't just want to sit around, so she decided to get some shooting in as well. She mostly used pistols, personally, but it didn't seem a rifle made it too much harder, which made some sense because it was typically easier to aim a rifle than a pistol. After shooting down a few clay targets she lowered the rifle with a smirk, imagining they'd been certain peoples' heads before putting the blaster back where it'd been and going to grab her water again.

Day 2, LA, Shooting for S&G, average difficulty: 4eA+2eD 2 successes, 1 advantage

[Riss]

"Oh my, dear Riss, you really do know everybody, don't you?" Cynella winked and then her eyes widened. "Oh, goodness, that's not the implication I meant. But take it as you will."

"Only the best," she smirks, giving a purposefully returned wink as she glances off at the sound of another shot going off in the background. Noting on the person hitting their target she near immediately returns her attention to those around her with a light and passive smile
