Alderaan - Love and Intrigue

The protests at the Queen's address had been a tense situation, reminded Omandri too much of similar things he had seen while he was part of the Republic military. Luckily today's events had a much better outcome.

Regardless he was a little on edge and figured the best way to deal with it would be to take Alpha for a walk among the garden. So Omandri walked through looking at all the flowers one hand resting on his metallic companion that kept stride with him.

Daz was out and about with his camera droid, he spotted Oamndri and walked over and said, “Hey noble sir or common sir… it’s ya boi, Daz coming to you live from Alderaan! Speaking with…”

He paused in front of Omandri waiting for an answer.

He added, “Just say your name, need the selfie light? Don’t worry you’ll look great, I’ll filter you up! By the way I’m Daz, ya boi, smash that like button and subscribe; we hit fifty thousand followers and I’ll do a sweet surprise!”

It’s unclear if he is talking to Omandri or the camera.

He sighed a little "Like probably basically everyone I'm here for the festival."

"So that's cool so... my chat is really interested in knowing if you trying to smash the Princess? Man chat get's put in lewd jail! But seriously you trying to get with Princess Jameela? What's your thoughts on the possible showdown between Ulgo and Panteer?" Daz asked in rapid succession.

Omandri rolled his eyes "I am not trying to "smash" princess Jameela and talking about Alderaanian nobility in that way, kriff talking about any woman in that way is highly disrespectful."

"As for the situation with Ulgo and Panteer well I know most parties involved are hoping we can find a solution to this so that Alderaan can see peace. The planet had bleed too much already."

“Hey Omandri I agree with you, dropping bans on jerks like it’s raining. But seriously you think peace can be achieved, there is a lot of unrest under the surface, just seems like something is going to give,” he responded.

He nodded it seemed like the kid had an OK head on his shoulders. Even if he didn't present himself the best way.

"Man you're asking the question on everyone's tongue. It's a very delicate political situation. I'm not sure how it'll all fall but I mean we have to at least try for peace even if it seems unlikely."

"Well let's say you had the power to fix things, how would you do it? Give us the Omandri plan, drop them dirty deets on ya boi," he replied.

Omandri straightened a little and exhaled loudly "woof man that's a big question. I don't think there is one answer that will get it done. I think the Ulgos will be more relaxed if Yulastranza gets betrothed to Joran and if Joran becomes the heir. But the tensions between Thul, Panteer and Ulgo won't be totally resolved. Boris Ulgo is a serious man, a war hero, and not one to take what's happened sitting down. I think it will take major concessions if anyone but Yulastranza ends up on that throne." He explained thinking through the situation.

But at the end he shrugged "but hey I've been out of the political loop for like six years so I could be off base."
