[Day 7, LA] Friendly Visit

[Dapper Dog]

"We do not know, the Hives are scattered, there is not enough for all hives and the invaders. Why?" the Joiner asked. The other killiks clicked warily at them.

[Baesal Zyn]

''The oldest could still remember...remember the age of peace but also...'' she nods to the count ''The age of space flight and migration''

[Dapper Dog]

"If the Hive must go, then we will leave, the Void is no obstacle. The hive stays," the Joiner responded.

[Baesal Zyn]

''What if we can offer the Hives a world of their own?'' she proposed

[Dapper Dog]

"Why?" the Joiner asked.

[Baesal Zyn]

''There is no conflict where there are no conflicts to be had'' she replies ''Understanding each other may take time but if the Hives have their own space to grow we may have that time.''

[Dapper Dog]

The joiner said, "Is this what you humans call an untruth? Lie? The Hive will not be deceived."

[Baesal Zyn]

''The Jedi Order rediscovered the Tython system a few years ago. We have settled ourselves on Tython proper but the system has other planets that were once inhabited that have been abandoned since. While we have a few people investigating them no one has settled on them yet. They are not virgin worlds but one of them could belong to the killik people of Alderaan.''

[Dapper Dog]

"Why? What do the invaders gain from such an offer? The Hive does not trust easy," the joiner responded.

[Baesal Zyn]

''I am of the Jedi Order, not the humans of Alderaan. We make this offer to the hives so that the hives can prosper without conflict...all is one in the Force. We would not see the hives suffer further but cannot stop the invaders from behaving selfishly thus our offer.''

[Dapper Dog]

"Jedi? Invaders. All same, not of the Hive, not of the other Hives. The Hive will consider this new information," the Joiner responded.

[Baesal Zyn]

''Can the other hive be told as well?''

[Dapper Dog]

"Why would the Hive wish for competition on new hunting grounds?" the Joiner responded.

[Baesal Zyn]

''This offer is for all the hives'' she replied

[Galen Sol]

"How many hives are there?" Galen asked.

[Dapper Dog]

"Why? We do not wish for other Hives to have what is ours. New planet, ours, other Hives will compete, take what is ours," the joiner replied.

[Baesal Zyn]

''The hives often told us we are selfish'' she says ''Do not make that same mistake: there is value in difference and there is more then enough space.''

[Dapper Dog]

"The hive does nothing for the self, only the Hive, it cannot be selfish that is for your kind," the joiner responded.

[Baesal Zyn]

''But is not the hive the self?'' she asked ''If there is no individuality and only the hive as a single entity...then the hive can be selfish vis-a-vis the other hives, no?''

[Dapper Dog]

“The Hive is the Hive, you cannot understand,” the Joiner said. “You have promised the Hive a world, we shall have it.”

The Joiner turned with the other killiks following.
