Alderaan - Love and Intrigue

Lana entered her meditation chamber, but there was a presence. Her crimson lightsaber ignited and she said, "It's been a long time, Darth Zash."

“I don’t remember crossing paths,” she said emerging from the shadows. “But I was curious if this was an Imperial plot, it reeked of Darth Baras.”

“How surprised was I to see otherwise, and you making nice.”

“Apparently this Cunning Man was at work here just as they were on Ziost. Darth Baras is a master schemer but this was not his work. These people actually get things done,” she said her blade still lit.

“To a point.”

“Scared? I am unarmed Lana, hardly a threat to you,” she said softly, sweetly.

“I’ll take my chances, Zash. Why are you here, you didn’t come to Alderaan to enjoy the chaos. There is nothing here of value to you, and we are not friends,” she said weapon still raised the two now circling each other.

“Maybe I missed my fellow Sith, everything feels so safe… so trusting in Republic space. Maybe I just wanted to be around the familiar,” she teased.

“You’re no fun. I need to verify something, the dyad in the force, I have seen a multitude of futures and some end very dark indeed.”

“Lies and more lies, Zash, you are here for power. That is all you crave, your ambition is bottomless, and I want no part of it. If I had the power I would end you, and to a chorus of cheers no doubt,” she said firmly.

“I am walking the path that Revan trod, but I am not one of those Revanites you hunted, no… I do not seek to replicate a well-trod path. The Force is manifest in many expressions, I have looked at the future and found the fulcrum… a point in time significant to the past, present, and future,” she said approaching the woman now.

“Do you think the Immortal Emperor is truly dead? Do you think the future is truly safe? Time is a serpent nipping at its tail, we lurch into conflict, we destroy ourselves, we rebuild and we do it again. But what if we could break that cycle? Impossible?”

As Zash got within striking distance she raised her hand and stayed Lana’s crimson blade with sheer Force, she cackled and said, “As you said, you lack the power to strike me down, child. So listen well to the words of the woman you knew as Darth Zash and the fulcrum that is Hoth.”
