Alderaan - Love and Intrigue

Delmi waited at the appointed place in the residences of House Syrush for Golji Bol, a house guardsman who she was told to contact and offer her support.

As she waited she pulled out a coin and began flipping it high in the air as she walked in an oval around the furniture meant for her to be sitting in.

Bugs huh... Should be gross.

The tall figure approached his large ear like flaps billowing in the breeze and he said, “Well, well, look what deesa got dragged in by theesa manka cat. The big Bankor hero, meesa very impressed.”

The gungan smiled at the soldier.

She smiled and gave the tall Gungan and good looking up and down.

"Yeah... I look that bad?" She smiled teasingly, "I even put on a nice shirt."

She extended her hand, "Delmi Koor, working currently as a specialist for House Thul... They tell me there's a bug problem?"

"No... no, meesa happy, meesa glad House Thul carin' for deesa big, big, problem. Killiks be swarmin' bigga boom," he replied trying to explain the situation.

"Biggaboom? Like..." She gestured with her fingers as if something was exploding.

"Yes, bigga boom, deesa gonna be budda bad if deesa swarmin' yousa gonna have to kill lots of killiks. Thin out deesa numbers, no bigga boom," he replied.

“I see… So we want to kill enough of them that we don’t have to blast the shit out of the whole house.” She gave a thumbs up.

“Gotcha! So where do we start shooting? Pew them up good.”

"Meesa thinks they have a nest maybe fifty to sixty kiicks, northin', meesa thinking, you goin' alone?" he asked.

She shook her head, “Probably not… if there are a bunch of them it’d probably be good to get a group of folks together. I have experience in these types of missions… Small group inserts in. Wreak havoc… get everyone out. Goin’ in solo isn’t probably the best idea with anything that ‘swarms’.”

"Well meesa is thankful for your help," he said warmly.

"Meesa can guide you closin' dosin', but meesa nottin fightin, meesa just take care of the grounds," he said proudly.

“Well that’s fine and dandy with meesa. Any readouts or old maps you have the area would probably be of big help. I’m sure they change shit up all the time… but knowin’ what you can know is half the battle.”

The gungan guard gestured for her to follow, "Meesa always keepin' good maps, meesa never gets lost, deesa be the honesty truth. Meesa very good, no budda bad."

"I believe you." She said with a nod.

"You work for house Syrush for a while now?"

"Yessa, meesa been doin' mucha gooda works for many, many years, meesa gooda guard."

She nodded her head in a circular motion, "I haven't seen anything that would tell me otherwise..."

She tilted her head, "How long have you all been having this bug problem?"

The gungan leads them into the guard house and explained they have had issues forever, it's always been this way. As long as they could remember as they laid out physical maps and a few holo-maps of the region for Delmi to look over.

She nodded as she listened... bending over the table and examining the layout as best as she could.

"I hear they are somewhat intelligent? Anybody a specialist in dealing with them that you know of? 'Dealing'... either peaceably or not..."

"No, meesa just shoota at them to keep them away," the gungan replied.

"I see... Hmm... I'll see what my contacts can gather and I'll get a team ready." She stands up straight.

"We'll see what we can do to keep your lands safe."

The gungan was glad to hear that and smiled that warm gungan smile.
